black housing from the newer model GEs (2012+?) cost about $200 more per headlight. insurance wasn't gonna bite. especially when there were 2010 chrome headlights available and would only absorb the cost of "replacement" headlights vs "upgraded" headlights.. oh wells.. i tried.

REAL Mugen fits perfectly. tho i noticed the black part is a separate piece from the colored frame; so there's a tiny tiny fitment issue where black meets SSM on the Left corner, but nothing as the eyesore of a cheaply made replica. looks and feels expensive..

soooo u can imagine the stress of doing the JDM emblem mod, trying to break off the two pins holding onto the chrome "H" emblem off the grill w/ an exacto-knife in the rain.!
totally thought i'd slip and put a 3 inch gash into the grill!! O.o

all in all. emblem swap complete. took time to color match the black plastic cover of the hood latch to SSM color as well.. (whatever it's called)

okay. enough talking. here's the goods:

This past weekend I got the following accomplished!
Lower Grill Mesh Protection - Done
Rear Wiper Adjustment - Done
DIY Full Cargo mat - Done
All new interior LED's - Ordered (White Map and cargo lights, blue footwell, cup holder, and dome lights)

Not bad for only owning the car (2013 Sport M/T Purple) for a week... ha!

Yes, I know it is in the background and is not the antenna on the car.

Thanks everyone, yes they are installed. Still tweaking the damping and strut length to get the best ride I can. First day I had it had way too much air so I was bouncing around like a go kart. A lot better now but might still need to ride with a little less psi especially if I wanna take this on road trips.

Then once we figure all that out, I still need an alignment big time. False floor, sound deadening for the compressor, and fix any leaking I might have.

How does it ride compared to stock?

Really depends how much air you got in the bags and how you set the damping. I currently ride at 50% aired up and it's a little stiffer than stock until you hit one of our signature Alberta cracks or potholes (doesn't like them). So I'm going to ride a little lower (less air) to soften up the ride. I want to bring the comfort level as close to stock as I can at drive height without sacrificing too much how low I can go when aired out. (Keep in mind my 45 profile tires)

Wasted money doing two alignments. I was dumb to think -1 camber wouldn't rub. I went from -3.5 to -1 then back to -3.
I'm on 205/17/45, offset 48.

Probably takes a bit of fiddling and experimenting to get just how you like. I've never personally known anyone that ran on bags, so I really have no idea how they work.

As for the Alberta craters and canyons, even stock they're almost unbearable.

I installed Inno rails plastidip'd with a basket for a trip down to the coast for some R&R. MPG was terrible with the Tule soft bag up top, 26.4. I think it was combined with going over 65 mph on the highway too.
