^^Agreed. The Dunlop Direzza Star Spec was the last good Dunlop car tire that I am aware of. I loved them on my S2000.

They've replaced that with the ZII & now the ZII Star Spec.

Both are also great.

The DZ102 is a decent, long-lasting summer tire.

Dunlop makes good tires, the OE dunlops just stunk...as do most OE tires.

61+k on my 13. Just oil changes so far and a brake disc that is starting to warp. Anyone know of good disc to get aftermarket?

Are you just looking for OEM style or drilled/slotted? I've heard EBC rotors are good.

I've had EBC on my motorcycle as well. willing to look at drilled/slotted as long as price is not too high. If good aftermarket are going to be better than stock, I'll buy them. hate bad brakes!! Thanks

I've always used Centric rotors from Rock Auto.

They're cheap. They're pretty hard to mess up.

Pads/fluid are way more important.

Mike410, Have you changed your fluid before? Pretty straight forward? I've not done ABS fluid swap before. Thanks

Im hitting 65,000 on a 2013. Got the car in 2015 with 35,000.
Ive probably gone to cali about 10x and and denver and up to flagstaff a few times. I finally took off my stock tires (Dunlop) and they are still at 50% even after getting 2 nails in the tires lol
I recently picked a del sol to give it a break.

ABS fluid?

Its just standard DOT3 fluid, though I used ATE Type 200. I didn't change my own fluid, my apartment doesn't allow for such activity.

Drilled/slotted on a Fit is a complete waste. Solid blanks are more than adequate.

I'm at 80500 miles. Averaging 34 mpg with A/C on for summer on ethanol-free 89. Wawa has it in the Tampa, FL market, $2.59. Yes it's more, but compared to 87 regular the mpg loss equals about the same $. Cold starts and drives perfect. Also noticed tailpipe finger swipe check is CLEAN, shiny as new, now has a touch of water vapor at idle, never got that before switching! Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20 at 15% on the MM. Steering wheel surface is worn off where you hold it, kinda sucks, and I don't like cheesy old lady wheel covers.

my 2010 Sport 5AT is at 102830miles as of 5/5/16. Averaging 37 MPG over the life of the vehicle.

Nothing real major for repairs.

1 for 2 for recalls so far (Lost Motion Spring is fixed.... Airbag not yet)

just regular Oil Changes every 7500 - 10k miles following the Maintenance Minder.

Exchanged fluids as recommended per book.

Replaced battery this past February (first time)... that's the biggest fault of this car is the lawn mower battery. If I don't drive it for 3 days its dead.

Still Original brakes (tried to get them replaced but was shown they are still good) I like to use the paddle shifters to down shift instead of hitting the brakes.

I'm i pressed with your average mpg for an AT. My 2011 Base usually gets around 32. In the winter and in the mountains, it drops to 30 or worse. When I went to the beach last summer, I averaged 40 because it was nice and flat.
I got my airbag replaced on Monday---so relieved to have that done!

Hey fitfreaks! I haven't been by in a while and just dropped in to check out the airbag recall thread.

2010, only 39.5k miles (low mileage because I work from home).
  • I change the oil and rotate the tires every 12 months. That comes out to about 5-6k miles per oil change/rotation. The MM is usually 30-50% at time of servicing.
  • Routine maintenance at appropriate intervals (as specified).
  • Did the lost motion spring recall, awaiting airbag.
  • TPMS sensor on front wheel replaced last week.
  • Otherwise no issues, still on original tires, battery, brakes. Actually, replaced one tire a while back (picked up a screw too close to sidewall to fix).
  • I'm getting 37.8 mpg according to computer. I have not verified the number for a couple of years so I can't vouch for accuracy but I can believe it because once I get out of town center, even my city driving is like highway drying. Lots of 45+ mph with few stops.

I'm very happy with my fit. Hope to have it for a good long while. Still have a 1991 accord. Practically stopped servicing it because it needs too many things fixed yet it refuses to die and just passed emissions.
