Just turned 109,000 on my one owner and babied 09 AT Fit Sport....still remember taking delivery in Oct 2008 after waiting about 6 weeks from ordering. Love this lil car. Full syn oil every 5 k and syn trans oil change every 10 k miles. Besides tires and wiper blades...only changed front brake pads for $30 DIY

82.5k on my 2010 5-sp base. Had a bad wheel bearing from the factory but no other issues. It's a daily driver that gets about 32 miles per day. I have kept track on every fill-up and get about 38 mpg.

I have only changed the oil, filters, blades and.... tires. I haven't even done the belt yet.

This was/is my first new car ever. I love it but... it sucks in the snow. Worst car ever for snow driving. Keep in mind that I owned a Pontiac fiero for a lot of years in the same climate.

177,000 this week on my 09. Just battery, front brakes, oil, belt, filters, plugs one time at 142,000 miles. Tires of course. The only non maintenance repairs have been a drivers side lower control arm and the hatch latch mechanism. That's it! Last inspection, the said the rear brakes were like new.

I bought last june.

09 sport at 89,000. Great car. swift springs and progress AR bar. Handles so well. Road noise hilarious at times though.

Love this thread....especially when you find one of your older posts...just got back from a fun road trip vacation to Memphis....111,000 miles and going very strong. Great car even with my wife and daughter plus luggage on a 10 hour run.

oil change; total miles

Mobil 1 5-20W Synthetic High Mileage.

High Mileage oil apparently conditions the seals. I used seal conditioner leak stop in a 2001 Civic in the power steering system, and it worked (to my surprise!).

I change when the oil turns dark brown, and after about a quart has been consumed, around 6000-9000 miles, usually when I have 30-50% indicated oil life on the odometer. Total mileage now 169,000 (2009 Sport).

New aftermarket stabilizer links on front (with grease fittings, had to buy a grease gun, what a throwback) at 165000, great improvement in noise and front end feel. Need to replace rear shocks. 205-50 tires, second set, probably will try 185-55 Michelins next time as they are now sold by Costco.

Heater blower and resistor failed lowest three speeds, both replaced by me at four years after dealer refused to honor TSB, saying car had too many miles while charging me $106 to say that. One of Honda's greatest appeals is the low number of defects, which minimizes engagements with dealer service departments.

Just did my own 50k maintenance: oil, spark plugs, and I still need to change the MTF. Switched to Royal Purple 5W-20, I know it's overrated but I wanted to try it anyways. Stuck with the OEM Denso plugs.

John, I usually change oil every 3500 miles or so. I tend to drive at a higher avg RPM than most (in other words, constant WOT), so my oil needs more frequent changes (at least in my opinion).

Just brought our new to us 2009 Sport 5MT home yesterday!

65,500 miles is just getting started.

Sister in law bought her 2009 Sport AT new per my recommendation. I finally took my own advice after maintaining her car for the past 8 years and 125k miles!
