The 2012+ Civic had better highway fuel economy than the 2009-2014 Fit. Now (by fueleconomy.gov) the Fit does better but by only 1MPG, which isn't impressing, and the faster you go, the less advantagous it is I guess. I remember I went to the USA once with mom's Fit (2009) and I was driving 120 all the way, I was near 8l/100km. With my Toyota MR2 Turbo I did the same run at 130kmh and got the same gas mileage (8l/100). But the mr2 had 20 years, big sticky tires and 100% more power and I was driving faster... Around town it's an other story of course!

So it's better than before due to the new engine, but with lower revs it could match the CVT score (41mpg highway vs 37 for the MT) and it would be great. That would be a free 10% economy!

Just purchased a white 2015 Fit for $16,500 and am very happy with the price I paid
According to Unhaggle these are the "invoice prices" for the car:
2015 Honda Fit 5dr HB Man LX
MSRP: $17,295.00
Invoice: $16,344.00

2015 Honda Fit 5dr HB Man EX
MSRP: $19,195.00
Invoice: $18,139.00

2015 Honda Fit 5dr HB Man EX-L Navi
MSRP: $21,295.00
Invoice: $20,124.00
---

They had the automatic LX model and was surprised that the Canadian LX model has the same screen as the EX/EX-L. Looks like the american LX has the smaller screen and volume knobs (
)

This car's replacing my 04 Mazda 3 and I am very pleased with this purchase

I didn't end up getting one on Friday despite originally being told that's when it would come in...

We have received the first Fit to the dealership for the showroom. According to Honda, your EX-L Fit is currently in transit to our dealership. It should be here within the next couple weeks, all depends on the truck bringing it, and how many stops it has before us. The ETA date will be confirmed within the week, we are hoping to also be able to get the VIN for you then, that way you are able to start the insurance process.

I went to see the fits that came in, got approved Friday afternoon for financing and then the salesman never called me back. They really aren't trying hard because they're flying out the door aren't they? :/

Ya, I put a deposit on Sept 9th for a blue 2015 Honda fit EX-L Navi and the sales guy mentioned there was a good chance my vehicle would be in by Sept 19. Again, I took what he said with a grain a salt.

I did stop in on Sept 19 and all I saw on the lot was a 2015 Honda fit LX.

And also the following from the dealer including VIN number:

...

You will also be receiving an email from Honda, with a pin # in it, which relates with the free extended warranty you received with the vehicle. If you could please email me the pin #, I will complete the set up process for your warranty.

The current ETA for your Fit is the beginning of October, however we are doing everything we can to speed up the process of the Fits arrival.

Have you guys placed your orders? If so what did they tell you the wait may be? For me it's looking like 3 months!! Which sucks because I have to turn down 2 job offers because I'll have no wheels after this week. :/

What's the dealer telling you? Mine told me they are only getting 4 a month but he's in touch with all the dealers in the province but one. And they'll swap one they have for the grey ex I want if anyone gets one that's not sold. It just seems odd he can't just order one direct from honda. It's an odd waiting game.

I'm looking to get an LX manual here in Ontario. Would anyone mind sharing what they paid? I'm not finding anything on Canada in the "2015 Dealer Price...and What You Paid" thread.

Ordered a Blue EX-L Navi on Sept 9th, still no vin number or expected delivery date.
All I know is I'm the second person on their list of orders.
Dealer: Family Honda (Brampton, Ontario)

I was quoted $18790 + tax for an LX manual. The dealer said 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.
