I've been asking for quotes on the 2015 because it seems like that may be best prices. I doubt 2016 will be discounted when you ask for a quote.

Emailed six Honda dealers in my area and after a day of back and forth I took the deal below:

2015 Honda Fit EX CVT.
White Orchid Pearl.
Wheel locks.
Connecticut
MSRP: $19,180.00
Sale Price: $17,425.00
Dealer Fee: $399.00
Sales Tax: $1131.82
Registration: $175.00

Out the Door: $19,130.82

I got 3rd party financing through PenFed at 1.5%.

Where did you get this? My quote of 16,850 is no longer valid.

It is a standard paperwork fee a dealer charges. In CT there isn't a cap but the fee is negotiable.

$20,250. Please don't tell me that I got screwed - even though I'm quite certain that I did. The MSRP was $19180 - I also had a trade in valued at $1900. Taxes and licensing was approx $1150.

Pretty upset with the dealer. Didn't pass the sniff test....but it was my first car in 15 years. I love the car - it's an EX (CVT).

I paid 16400 for my LX CVT. When I was looking for an EX, lowest I was quoted was 17688. I wish I could have gotten a deal like that! I would be driving an EX if I had that deal!

That can't be an out the door price. It must be pre-tax and licensing.

Just purchased mine [LX (MT6) with tinted windows but nothing additional] for $15401. With tax (9%) and other fees it came out just below $17,000 OTD.
