EX-L Milano RED

Bought new on 6/22/15 with 242 miles on it.

EX-L, Red.
SE Minnesota

Selling Price: $20,052
Registration Fee: $331.75 (I traded in a 2014 Ridgeline)
Doc Fee: 75

The EX-L are sparse within a 150 mile radius. It appears the dealer made a trade with a dealer that 220 miles north of here.

It appears that as inventory gets lower, dealers aren't discounting the 2015's as much anymore. This trend will probably continue until closer to the time when the 2016's enter the market and they'll want to deplete their inventory of 2015's as quickly as possible (if there's any left at that time).

My first post, first Fit, and first car!

2015 Fit EX-L in Mystic Yellow Pearl
MSRP $20,745
Paid $19.200 including destination. OTD price was considerably more (over 21,000) after Chicago and Cook County sales taxes.

The dealer threw in wheel locks (which were already installed) and a cargo tray.

I just got a wow for 16,900 for a 2015 Fit EX. Is that a good price? Does not include tax and licensing. I will be paying $11,000 and financing the rest which I will assume is $7,500 if OTD price comes to around $18,500. What would a payment look like in a 48 month $7500 loan? I have exceptional credit.

That's about what I paid for mine in Livermore, CA. Most of the dealers were only offering about $400 off MSRP. Max I saw was $1k and then one of the dealerships that had my email offered me a different discount of $2200 off MSRP so I didn't hesitate on that deal!

In my opinion it was a deal. I got at EX for less then the LX MSRP.

I don't know how often that happens though. And depends on how many 2015's they have left if they are trying to make room for the 2016's even though there aren't many changes.

should I get a 2015 or wait for the 2016? Prices don't really seem to be discounted on the 2015, but it would depreciate like hell as soon as the 2016 comes out.
