2015 Dealer Price...and What You Paid
They tried to have me purchase one of the MPP plans listed on New Car Warranties | MPP - Mechanical Protection Plan to cover everything for 100k miles, I wish I had enough patience with them to write which one down. If I had signed up, my out the door price would have gone from $20.7K to $33.2K per their paperwork.
Update after cancelling GAP
Thought I would update. My insurance offers GAP so I cancelled with the Dealership cause my insurance is low that I paid it outright for six months.
MSRP - 17200
Honda Protection Pkg - 1676 (This is B.S but at this price, I was not complaining)
Discount - 3100
Sale price - 15845
Tax - 1048
Tag and Title - 406
Pre delivery service fee - 699
OTD price - 18063 (There's a doc fee, I know this isn't made up because the bank asked about it.)
But I got gap insurance through the dealership which I am now trying to cancel because progressive provides it!! They are seriously dragging their feet though. I have called them twice!
What shocks me is that 18,000 is the lowest price I got and looking at some of the stuff there, you can tell it's total B.S.
Financed @ 2.79% through Bank of America because when Honda quoted me freaking 5%, I was like GTFO. It's annoying cause they were offering the 500 for new grads but I can see why if that's their APR. I mean I have a banging credit score in the high 700s. I got Bank of America to approve me in a matter of minutes...

White LX CVT with car mats and a pinstripe 17,300 out the door at Browns Honda City, MD.
I also got the college incentive 500 with 2.3% APR and 300 for my inoperable stratus. Total of 16,500. I think I got a pretty good deal. =)

1. EX CVT Passion Berry Pearl
2. MSRP $19010
3. Paid $18686 plus taxes and fees =$20700
4. location socal
I got $800 for my old clunker in trade in (bad head gasket).
I got them to throw in a cargo cover and the tray for the back. It's got floor mats, wheel locks, mud flaps, and tinted windows, not sure if those are standard. I might have saved some money if i had really worked at it, but my heart wasn't in it. Time vs benefit and all that crap.
They had to reprint the damn form four times because I kept finding garbage fees and telling them to take them off (surface protection, extended warranty, theft deterrent, and another one I can't remember, all told about $4500).
With 1.99% i decided to keep my emergency fund intact and financed 2/3rds of the cost for 48 mo.
They earned this one, sales guy had to spend a couple of hours going to another dealership to pick it up.

Got my new 2015 Honda Fit EX-L Navi
New to this forum. Just want to share my buying experience. Got mine 2 weeks ago in Sacramento Honda dealership. 2015 Honda Fit EX-L Navi in White: $20,300 + TLL, included one free oil change. No added accessories.
Overall good experience, except that they added a $180 paint protection warranty and did not disclose upfront. I caught it during signing, they removed it. I shopped my Honda accessories at www.partscheap.com, you can find great price on OEM parts there! Good luck, and happy shopping.

Unspecified line item - 140
Discount - 694
Sale price - 17825
Tax - 550

Doc fee - 539
OTD - 18998
I talked to four area dealers. One was sticking to "True Car" pricing at 18,1xx before tax/tag/doc. One claimed full retail was the best they could do. Another offered 17-something on a car with no dealer options, but they're a 40-minute drive in a direction I never go.
The dealer I bought from matched the no-option quote and spared me the in-person negotiations. I financed half at 1.9% from a credit union. I have a couple of free oil changes and six wash/wax jobs if I go back there for service.

2015 Fit EX Passion Berry Pearl CVT with tinted windows, wheel locks and 3m protection
Socal
MSRP: $19,800
Price: $17,349
Alarm: $595
Honda Care 80k miles: $1,287
Tax, fees, registration, title: $1,777.67
Total out the door: $21,008.67
I was able to financed it thru my credit union for 1.99% after Honda could only offer me 4.5%.
Dealer was courteous and worked very hard to get the car for me. It seems this color was quite hard to find. Other dealers won't even come down this low.

New member, first post. Wish I'd seen this thread sooner!
2015 LX CVT Black
Southern California/Orange County
MSRP: $17400
Price: $16300 (incl destination fee, handling fee). Also incl splash guards, cargo tray.
Taxes and (more) Fees: $1650
OTD: $17950
Not as good as some of those deals on the East Coast, but I can't imagine trying to drive my Fit through snow
. Overall I'm satisfied. Also going to get WeatherTech floor mats for ~$200.
