2015 Dealer Price...and What You Paid
Finally got blue EX CVT for $18700 OTD. It worked out for $17300 + TTL. Went with edmunds price promise. They refused to sell vehicle on the lot with dealer addon items instead took a deposit and ordered one. I knew, they never going to get another vehicle for me. Instead got vehicle on the lot for this price. It came with tint, trunk tray, wheel locks, pine stripe, door and mud guards. Did not opt for any protection packages or extended warranty. They offered very high interest rate. But accepted my loan application already submitted with my bank which offered me 2.48% rate. They just processed everything with application number my bank emailed me. Looks like dealer and bank are connected with common system.

Silver LX, CVT
Dallas, TX
Paid $16,863 +TT&L.
This was $200 above the TrueCar price; the dealer wanted something for the window tint. The TrueCar price included The Honda Protection Package (splash guards, wheel locks, and rear cargo tray) and Honda's 3 Year Paint & Fabric warranty (buff the paint, clean the fabric type thing). Plus, the dealer fills the tires with nitrogen in all of its cars and provides 2 free oil changes.
My wife discovered a nice bonus after we left the dealer...carpet floor mats. We didn't notice these when looking at the car, nor were they in the trunk like the EX we looked at. Sweet.
Aside from a dead battery at four weeks old, the Fit has been excellent.

What caused you to have a dead battery so soon?
Via Craig's list I asked $2200 and got $2000 cash, (I asked buyer to install Venmo app for safer cash transfer). Civic needed a muffler, paint was peeling, tires not that new, but very clean and dependable and low mileage.
VERY HAPPY, final cost $15,350 after selling Civic.
Love the Fit! Fun to drive, though I feel every bump.
Researched, bought new, and sold old in one week! Thanks to this forum and to internet/email shopping which was just wonderful, watching the dealers underbid one another, in the comfort of my home.
Picked up a 2015 LX CVT Oxford White from Salem Honda, Salem Oregon. $16804.00 OTD with Oregon Title/Reg and Doc fee's included. Talk to Brandi; truly an honest salesperson. Just love it so far. Dam noisy, but knew I'd need to modify it for my own comfort.

Just got my Fit last Saturday
2015 Honda Fit LX, Black with tint
Houston, TX
17,270 MSRP- 19,100 Dealer Price
16,500 Selling Price (excluding the tax+fees)
Went all around town to 4 different Honda dealerships and they were trying to sell it way above MSRP. The first dealership we went to wanted to sell it for 19,500 and only came down to 18,700. And there wasn't even anything special about it. We promptly shook their hands farewell. We had better service and negotiations with the final dealership, but my brother is still kicking himself thinking he could've dealt it down further. I'm happy with the results tbh and I love my car. So we drove that car off the lot with the total cost of the car (after taxes and fees) being way less than the first guy hah.

I can't believe there are still dealerships out there trying to sell it above MSRP. It's been on the market way too long to expect people to pay those crazy prices. Congrats to you mayonegg for getting a good price on your new Fit. Now get out there and enjoy it!
Thanks to all on this thread! I didn't beat every deal on here, but I did better than I would have settled for without reading this thread.

Red EX CVT with "mandatory" dealer add ons just like Ritholtz above - tint (never dark enough - would go darker in back), wheel locks, cargo tray (everything slides on this cheap thing - Weathertech would be better), pin stripe (nice, suprisingly), door edge guards (cheap plastic crap I might rip off - they don't even cover the entire length of the edges), splash guards (meh).
19,000 OTD. 2.25% financing, which is a bit high, but only $175 or so more over 5 years than the 2% would have been. Zero down. Yes, I turned down the ridiculously priced options. 7 years of cloth protection for just $750, if you buy now - I soaked the whole interior in 303 fabric guard the next morning for maybe $10?
If there are any options you are considering adding, price them from bernardihonda.com first. They have a nice list of the options all in one place on their site.
I'm planning to add X-pel clear headlight and foglight film (20% off coupon code SCCA and free shipping made it $53 after tax), and weathertech digital floor liners, which are just under $200, which is crazy, but our MINI still smells like spilled Gatorade from a year ago, so I'm good with that. Wife cooks a ton and transports food a lot, so, what are you gonna do?
Happy hunting, everyone!

Wait, am I reading that right, you got $1980 off MSRP? That would be incredible.
Yep- got a written quote for that amount from another dealer through Edmunds after already paid deposit and original dealer agreed to match it. There's a longer story, but it seems to be very competitive here in MA. One dealer offered me a "Costco Price" of 17,000 OTD on an EX MT which is what I was originally paid the deposit on, after I told him I was pretty sure he couldn't beat the price I'd already been quoted. Problem was all the MT's were "in transit" and after 3 weeks of delays I couldn't/wouldn't wait. When I asked for a 2nd set of quotes on a Milano Red CVT I got the 17,045 plus tax, registration and admin fees, from a third dealer which the original dealer matched. Ended up waiting another 10 days after the "guaranteed" delivery date but they gave me a nice loaner with a full tank since I'd already "handed down" my 2000 Odyssey. Now if it would just stop snowing so I can really enjoy it.
Just got my 2015 Aegean Blue EX MT with window tints this past Saturday. Had a few dealers competing for my business. Ended up with $18,750 OTD. I had the last day of the month and crappy weather working to my advantage.
I've been waiting almost 2 months for my "in transit" LX from Atamian and I'm now searching for better options.
Most dealers told me the car I wanted was "in transit " back in December. They each claimed they could have within anywhere from 2 days to a week. A week later no one had it though some said they did just to get me in. A month later, still no one had it though lots of the dealers showed one on their website, VIN # and all. The move to Mexico has not improved the availability of the Fit at least here in MA.
Atamian insisted they had the car I wanted on the lot but when I asked the sales rep to confirm by actually seeing it herself it was suddenly "in transit."
Paula Stinn @ Autofair Honda in Plymouth said she had the MT on order but had the same car CVT and sent me a photo of it on the lot. She seemed the most straight forward but I'm on the North Shore didn't want to make the trip.
North Honda in Danvers claims to have a lot of Fits in stock and maybe they do as their "Edmunds" special price is the highest and they show no interest in negotiating. They are upfront folks though.
Commonwealth Honda in Lawrence accused the other dealers I spoke with of being dishonest about their stock and the price offers. They were the second highest and just generally negative about everything.
Honda Cars of Boston in Everett and Honda Gallery in Reading had the next lowest price but didn't have the color I wanted in either transmission. Honda Gallery later offered me a super low eprice if I'd take a color they had in stock.
Cambridge Honda and Kelly Honda offered the same "Edmunds" price. Kelly was closest so I went there. That's when the "in transit" bit started. Eventually, I decided I cared more about color than transmission (MT's are fewer than CVT in the EX model) and got a second round of quotes. Kelly had a confirmed delivery date for the CVT (they showed me the email from Honda) so I waited it out. They matched my lowest price quote, and when the CVT didn't show up in two days as "guaranteed" they gave me a loaner until it did, a week later. Eddy Mejia was the salesman and the sales manager is Said pronounced like Sajed. They are in Lynn. They don't have any more control over the supply chain than any other dealer but they tried to keep me up to date and undestood how frustrating it was.
