2015 Dealer Price...and What You Paid
I got a EX-L with Navi in white orchid pearl. Because the demand is so high they weren't willing to budge on the list price ($20,800). I did attempt to try to get them to throw in tires, the polycoating, etc... Didn't bite, though. Ended up having to pay for the polycoating (and mud flaps). They did agree to give me Lifetime Inspections free of charge, so that was a slight perk.
Car Cost $20,800 + $790 shipping fee + $155 Mud Flaps + $1284 polycoat + $941 extended warranty($23,970)
+ $1677 sales tax
+ $133 documentation fee
+ $124 License/Registration fee=
TOTAL COST: $25,919.90
I wish I could've gotten a better deal, but honestly, I am so happy with this car and all the features AND they got it to me in 2 weeks (when 17 other dealers couldn't promise me anything in less than 2-4 months)... It was worth it to me!

Got my Fit today and thought I'd post some info to help out everyone in the Bay who's still looking for one.
1. LX, 6M, White, No accessories
2. Fairfield, CA
3. MSRP $16,315
4. $15,807.82 (car) $17,500 (out the door)
I contacted every Honda dealer in the Bay Area asking for an "out the door" quote that included the price of the car, sales tax, doc fees, DMV, etc. Just about everyone I spoke to gave me their spiel on how hard it would be to find the Fit I want at a price remotely close to MSRP. I would have to say though, I found none of it to be true.
There were plenty of dealers who had the model and color I wanted. I was initially looking for a white EX CVT and I didn't have a hard time finding that either.
Though there was one dealer (in Oakland) who gave me a quote that was much higher than the MSRP for the EX, every other dealer claimed to be selling their Fits for around the MSRP. Here's a list of quotes I got from the different dealers around the Bay Area who had a white manual LX.
Walnut Creek - $16,015.00 (car) $17,606.23 (otd)
Napa - Didn't get an exact quote, said around $16,200.00 (car)
Marin Honda - $16,315.00 (car) $17,967.84 (otd)
Dublin - Didn't know how to do a breakdown, I guess. $18,023.82 (otd)
San Leandro - $16,315.00 (car) $18,073.82 (otd)
San Francisco - $16,315.00 (car) $18,084.31 (otd)
Serramonte - $16,315.00 (car) $18,099.30 (otd)
Berkeley - $16,315.00 (car) $18,108.07 (otd)
Davis - Didn't know how to do a breakdown either. $18,114.82 (otd)
Looking at the list, I find it interesting how though the majority of them "claim" to be selling the car for the same price of $16,315, none of them had a matching out the door price.

We bought our FIT last night!!!!
Here's our breakdown:
Honda 2015 LX CVT:
Car: 16359.43
Doc fee: 300
Sales tax: 999.57
Title & Reg: 205.00
Subtotal Total: 17874.00
College grad discount: -500
Total: 17, 384.00

I haven't had a car for 10 years, and my husband hasn't had one for two (we live in a city where a car isn't *necessary* but it isn't easy to live without one). We saved for a year to buy the car in cash. However, we qualified for 0.9% financing, which was fantastic. AND I was happy that I could put $3k of our downpayment on my credit card. Yay rewards points!
So happy to say good bye to Zipcar, Car2Go, Enterprise CarShare and rental car insurance! And SOOO HAPPY TO JOIN THE FIT CLUB!

Hi all!
I'd like your opinions on whether or not these are good prices that a dealer offered me, these prices are the discount off of MSRP + $80 Doc fee (does not include Tax, license or title fees so it's not quite OTD price). I asked if there were any dealer add ons or charges for additional installed items and they said no.
2015 Fit LX automatic - $16,519 ($596 below MSRP)
2015 Fit EX automatic - $18,468 ($637 below MSRP)
These amounts were from a car buying program/service and were not from me negotiating anything.
Do you believe I could do any better negotiating or should I go with the above?
Thanks for any advice!

*Update*
I got my Fit!!
$18,067.25 out the door!
They came down $19 from the original quote to $16,500 for the car.
The rundown:
2015 Fit LX automatic (White): $16,500
Doc Fee: $80.00
CA Sales Tax: $1243.50
Electronic Veh. Reg Fee: $29.00
CA DMV fees: $214.75
Total: $18,067.25
I'm so excited!
And on top of that it was one of the most pleasant car experiences I've ever had, no pressure, no gimmicks, no trying to sneak in any extra costs - nothing. They were respectful, pleasant and a real joy to work with.
They did offer the Extended Warranty, the Zurich paint/interior protection package and the Gap Insurance. I declined all - I will be getting Mechanical Breakdown Ins through my Credit Union.
So happy to be a Fit owner!

My wife and I bought our first Fit last night! We declined every extra they tried to unload, including service plans, paint protection, etc. Took about two and a half hours to close the sale.

New 2015 LX CVT
Hi All! I'm new to this forum. We just got our Blue 2015 Fit LX CVT, last week. We paid sticker for it $17,115. This is the first car I ever paid sticker for, but we wanted the car. So far we like it a lot. It seems like a perfect replacement for our 2005 Vibe. Brendan
What I paid...
17,640 Aegean Blue Lx Auto, zero miles off the truck.
+cargo liner+mudflaps plus 1585 taxes and 489 dollar doc fee! ouch!!!
at 20,000 for a base model LX automatic in Tn.

Hi all! I'm new to this site and I totally wish I saw this site sooner so I could have made a more informed decision!
I just bought a 2015 Honda Fit EX-L with navigation in passion berry pearl with moonroof visor, body side moldings, OEM remote start...and it already came with wheel locks and Data Dots (an anti-theft system).
It's estimated to come in a week from now!
My total out the door price including all fees and the accessories was 24,000!
Is that an ok price??
