2015 Dealer Price...and What You Paid
I also bought from Spreen Honda in Loma Linda, CA (11/23/14). I was very satisfied with the deal I received, and how straightforward the salesperson I dealt with was.
Honda Fit LX CVT Pearl White
Price: $15,922
Sales tax at 9%: $1,433
OTD price after taxes, license, fees: $17,684
paid $6,000 down, loan was at 2.35% for 60 months.
I tried to ask for free all weather floormats but didn't get it. At the price I got I didn't want to haggle for that.
I am currently loving my Fit! I went from a Honda 2002 Accord to the Fit, and the difference in gas mileage is amazing. With some local commuting and heavy freeway driving, I am getting 40MPG.

Another thing about Spreen is that they had a complete inventory of colors and models...compared to the combined total of one Fit between the two dealers in the Coachella Valley where I live. They said it's simple; if you sell more cars, you get more cars. Great dealer.
Agean Blue EX CVT (Currently being driven from another county - contingent on the car's condition)
Add ons: Wheel Locks, Cargo Liner, Pinstripe (not wanted), Door Edge Guards (Not wanted)
$20,150 out the door (includes new tags - no transfer, sales tax, license plates and the other junk fees) + 1.75% APR - not a bad rate - makes up for the add-ons that weren't necessarily desired. ***I originally wanted 20k out the door, which I had discussed online with the dealer in the first place, but I also thought I would get 2.99% apr so I can't complain.

I pounced on this offer about a month ago. Not sure where you are located but I am in Dayton, OH. From Castrucci Honda. Our price for the 2015 Honda Fit EX CVT, including a splash guard set, all-season mats, and a cargo net is $17900.00. Our documentation fee is $250 and government fees are $34.50. So, the "out the door" total is $19500.38
No Hassles. I bought my extended warranty from Saccucci Honda online. Best deal if you are interested in an extended warranty.
Not bad but you can probably can do better if you want to do some comparison shopping.

Tax in California is 9%
.. You got yourself a nice deal.
Ouch
and the state is almost bankrupt
You probably have a good deal then but it never hurts to pit dealers against each other. You would be surprised what you can get in a couple of days when they know you are going to buy. I bought mine from the dealer I planned on all along(due to proximity) but saved a bundle by making them bid against other dealers. Email is great for that.

I actually drove further away to the dealer I like, but they matched a local dealer who had Honda incentives they were passing on to the customer. The local dealer may have had the best price but not the best customer service/satisfaction. Having my dealer match it was win-win. The dealers really do jump on it when a quote is requested from their website, though.

Thank you for your advice, I will contract more dealers in the area to see if they want to lower the price.
I went to 4 different Honda dealers to find the best deal for an EX CVT.
Puente Hills Honda in City of Industry - $21,000 OTD
Norm Reeves Honda World in Downey - $19,900 OTD
Rock Honda in Fontana - $20,100 OTD
Moss Bros. Honda in Moreno Valley - $18,900 OTD & bought it here!
It wasn't easy at the MBH though. They played some "bait and switch" games with me but still their price was lower than anyone else that I checked.
Yes, a bit of driving but it was worth.
Luckily gas price is low these days, $2.39/gal in my area.

Its just sad how wildly different dealer prices can be. Sure local taxes/fees can impact the price some but the reality is that dealers play by their own rules individually. I check TrueCar on a near daily basis and find the "best" three prices in my area often vary by $1000 or more. I'd hate to think how the worst prices would stack up vs the "best".
2015 EX Manual Blue = $17,749 (recieved an email saying SALE)
Portland, Oregon
Multnomah DMV Fees = $475.00
MSRP $18,225
Side Note:
I traded in a 2007 Honda Fit with 72000 miles. Kelly Blue Book estimated a value~ $5,500 for the car and I was offered $6,000 for my trade in.
I said I wanted the new Fit for $17,000 and $6,000 for trade in. The sales person wouldn't negotiate the price of the car. 3 hours later, I got an additional $800.00 for the trade in. So I was about $200 off my target price.
I think if you are persistent, and you get the right dealership who needs to move product, someone could get the same car for $17,000 - $17,250 without a trade.
Great car and good luck negotiating! I am willing to help anyone help anyone out in the Portland area. Not saying we could get a great deal but I am willing to help.

Hey all I was shopping around extensively for a 2015 LX with 6MT but ended up getting a 2013 Sport with MT.
Here is my intel for southern CA area near LA:
I was able to get the best deal at Hardin Honda out of almost every single dealer here within a 50 miles radius of orange county.
They were willing to do $14.5K on a brand new car with just $80 doc fee, tax and license fee. Nothing else (although I didn't make it to finance to see if they would spring any other charges on me). They were pressed to sell their cars.
I actually got a much better offer but I don't want to say the actual amount. if you press harder before year end, you could probably (very likely) get it lower, but not below the 14's.
Next best deal was Honda Pasadena that was willing to do $14.8K.
I am in no way affiliated with these dealers, but since I purchased a different car, I figured I'd spill the beans and help out the community. Hardin seemed really honest and upfront about the whole thing. I can give you the exact salesman I dealt with over PM so you can communicate directly with him.

Bought my 2015 Fit EX (Milano Red) on Monday for $19,400 OTD and it came with cargo mat, mud flaps, pin striping, wheel locks...
Breaks down like this:
- $589 Doc Fee
- $300 Tax
- $39 Tags/Title
- $189 for Int/Ext Protection (so it says)
- $129 for pinstriping
- $379 for wheel locks, cargo mat, and mud flaps
- $59 for nitrogen in the tires (so it says)
That would leave the base price at $17,716 if all the itemized numbers were fixed but I'm sure they finagled the other items around - probably taking a hit in the holdback, accessories price, and/or doc fees. Either way, I felt it a good deal that after all was said and done I wrote a check for $19,400 for the car. Another dealer had the same price match but I really liked the dealer I went to (is that strange to say? haha)
