Homebuilt stuff is often experimental and not subject to the same requirements as production aircraft. Not sure what all the differences are, but I saw some people using RX7 engines, so it can't be too strict.

Which generation engine, and is there much in the way of mods to turn it into an aircraft engine?

Can't find a link to Bassguitar1985 posts. Want to tow small trailer with the occasional sheet of plywood on it. Suggestions?
