Ok so I'm looking for a second set of rims for my '07 sport so I can have a summer set and winter set, currently I have my snow tires on the factory alloys so ideally I'd just get something that looks ok and put my "summer" tires on those, I found some Bassett racing wheels for $64 each and are the DOT legal ones my question is can I run them without rubbing? They have the right bolt pattern and are 15x7 but I'm lost on offset and backspace. They are 15x7 with 0 offset and either 3" or 4" backspace. Can I run them or not? I really don't want to cut the fenders or run flares so if not is there something similar that will work?
Zero offset will look ridiculous. Fender rubbing is only an issue really if you are lowered. Just get some steel OEM wheels from a junk yard or craigslist. TireRack sells winter wheel packages and you can get new steel wheels for cheap.
First, thank you goINat for your advice on the Bassett wheels.
Second after lots more looking I stumbled across a set of 16x7 konigs with the universal 4 lug set up that came off a Chevy Cobalt according to the owner. I asked about offset but they weren't able to provide it so I'm going to look in person, at what offset would these be a "no-go" on a bone stock GD3 which I have no intention of lowering (roads in my area are not kind to lowered vehicles). I'm going to try to get them to let me test fit at least one on the front but if not I'd like to have a solid number to go by so I don't waste my money. Thanks in advance

Just bought my 09 fit because I needed a ride to fit my service dog in and she ain't fitting in my crz. But after a little research and pulling the rims off I found out it has some 17x9 with a +20 offset. No it's not lowered and yes on some bumps it will rub. No I'm not keeping that way but I did figure you guys might get a kick out of this. Lmfao! Enjoy!!

OMG, those are the wheels I want for my GE, even look good in 15". But I'd rather get 16" to keep the stock diameter. I'm obsessed with knowing if the tires will poke out too much running 205's. But I saw a video of another GE that was running Konig Backbones with 205 tires and a +40 offset on Swift springs and in front you could just barely see the tires poking out. If I could get those wheels and have the same thing, I'd be really happy.

I am thinking to run the Volk TE37 Sonic 16x7 +35 on 205/50 and lowered on the Spoon Progressive Springs 25MM (.96"). Would this rub? It's a on GE8 btw.
