The ramps sound like a good idea, but won't the car still be unleveled if the front of the car is on the ramps? This is what I'm confused about

When adding the fluid, you put enough in so that it dribbles out...then put in the fill-bolt. Technically, yes the vehicle should be more level...but functionally, it will be fine.




A good mechanic checks it a week after anyway, it should still dribble a bit. Occasionally you need to put more in. Most of the time, no. As you fill it through the tube, it actually overfills a little 'cause the tube blocks the back-flow.

Like I said in the other thread, don't worry about putting all four wheels up, that's more trouble than it's worth, the drain plug is close enough to the back of the case that it won't matter that much for draining.

Buy two ramps and a hand pump and have at it.
