Actually, they were not bad, actually slightly loose, I probably didn't need to do it, and was running fine, a little loud when cold, a bit less now. There are good car fax records, but not for adjusting valves. Really just wanted piece of mind. Changed the transmission filter while I was in there, drained and refilled, will drive a week, then drain and refill again a couple more times.
