...agree with carlosalicea am happy with the Megan Racing axel-back and their other pipes are reasonable as well. heck, it is just like getting an extra $450!! But I do like that blue colour to the end of the pipe... guess that adds an extra $150 eh?

docjim2,

Do you notice any droning with the Megan exhaust between 2000RPM and 3000RPM? and Do you have an AT or MT?

for those looking into the megan axle-back. I havent heard any droning from the exahsut in those rpm ranges but the t1r intake might be blocking it out.

...you should hear my Accord Coupe with the dual Ractive mufflers... now that is droning! It could have a bad tooth and those mufflers on my V6 could make the pain worse!
BTW I am taking those off my car this summer. The chrome tips could be polished up and put on a Fit!! $20 plus S&H I have two...
I do like the Megan product. Unlike the Accord the sound goes out the tailpipe; not thru the trunk into the cabin... and yes I spent too much money on the soundproofing mat!

Yup and I could hear the engine with the K&N but now all the noise seems to go out the back tailpipe... read my Ractive post! And the Megan is better priced for a chrome product...

Smile Beefy sound

I put an HKS Muffler with a custom straight through pipe, no catalytic converter just a straight pipe with a custom header. To go with that I put a HKS Reloaded Air Induction Kit and i am more than happy with the results. Sounds awesome and goes really well. Next step will be the Throttle body valves and ECU

AT and it may "drone" but even with the windows down it is not a problem. With the Megan axel back and adding the rest of the down and middle pipes from the same website it is a heck of a lot less than the big name brands! Imagine doing a cat back for $50 or slightly more than the price of JUST the axel back from the brand names... I have seen some of them $400+!

the mugen exhaust is pretty good it has a nice tone to it.altho if u wait awhile longer hks and greddy will be coming out with there own line of exhaust systems for the fit spot aswell as the fit.if ur interested in getting a honda fit; the sport trim would b a good option because they will have ALOT of aftermarket parts avaliable for it aswell as exhaust systems.so i say to everyone out there:if u have ALOT of money and r rich then u can get the prototypes of these parts for ur fit but if ur not just wait it out they'll have LOTS of parts available in 08.
