I also found a Netami with a 2 inch inlet on ebay that was much higher quality and had a higher price of 140.00 with shipping but I'm cheap and now I am cheap and happy....
Doesnt look too bad. It looks kinda big under the Fit.

I was planning on getting the Netami TwinLoop. The overall looks of that muffler is sexy.

I was also thinking about trying one of those. They have two different styles: a thin long can and a shorter fatter canister. What I have now is simular to the shorter fatter can. They should fit perfectly and there is definately pleanty of room for either one. I've had my cheapo now for about two months and really like it. It's smooth and quiet with a serious increase in power.

I didn't find any audio clips.
Maybe this will help with some ideas on how different designs would look

Thanks for the pictures - - hey I'm waiting for a Storm Silver Sport just like yours - - nice - - do you like the way the exhaust looks with the finisher or would it look just as good without it?? Just wondering if I want to get one, the Fit is going to be my wife's car, so an axle back exhaust probably won't ever happen

Does anybody have any pictures closer and a side view??

I have the finisher on my SSS and it makes the pipe look larger and more finished - also install it yourself - it's about as easy as changing a TP roll...

Click the links just to the right of the little file page icons and you should be fine. They're Windows media vids, and they'll download and open once you click the link.

Edit: Here's a pic

Does anyone know if the Spoon N1 muffler is really loud without the silencer? Would be fine without the silencer or should I get it? thanks in advance.

how does the T1R intake sound?? a friend I can trust who has tuning/racing experience tells me to go with Mugen over Spoon because the Spoons tend to sound more ricey.... definately not a route i wanna take. this is a beater, not a race car, but a beater that needs more power!! I want to do the exhaust for performance, not to get pulled over for being too loud! Mugen seems reallllly pricey though... so maybe the T1R?? comments anyone?

HFP Sport Exhaust on 5AT Fit

Honda states the HFP sport exhaust is for MT Fits only, reportedly because of excessive noise on the AT. I decided to try it anyway on our 5AT Fit since H&A has a special running for $240. The exhaust comes with everything needed and installation only took 20 min. It fit perfectly and not surprisingly looks no different than on a MT. As others have mentioned it hangs a little low, but it doesn't look out of place.

The stock exhaust is nearly silent at all times, but you can definitely tell a difference with the sport exhaust. There's a a nice growl at start up before the exhaust goes silent again at idle. During acceleration the sport exhaust has a deep mellow sound just slightly louder than normal. At cruise you can barely hear it, whereas the stock exhaust is silent. It is not intrusive at all and my wife didn't even mention it. There is no droning.

I can't imagine why Honda thinks this is too loud on the 5AT Fit. For those that want a nice looking exhaust with a bit of sporty sound, this is perfect and the price is right. As far as performance, I doubt it makes any more measurable horsepower. However, it looks nice and sounds just right.
