I'm still reluctant to purchase yet. I want to get a little further ahead in payments.

Another part of me wants to pay the thing off all together.

Do what works best for you. I am usually a year behind a variety of things that Fellow Fit Freakers do or have done but It gives me a chance to look at the pros and cons. HA !

Good for you. You are my kind of person. Sometimes when you are confined to a wheelchair and almost deaf (Vietnam 64) you see things different.

I just hit boost tonight for the first time... and now I'm having a really bad headache. No traction indeed. I need to get used to it. Maybe the Fit is really light or something, the sensation was pretty intense... lol.

Coolant & oil is still leaking...

Fixed already.
oil leak was from the oil pressure sensor...
and one of the coolant route bonjo bolts tucked underneath the turbine got loosened. simple task but major operation, had to take out the turbo to re-tighten it.

14 seconds is quick for a Fit! 13 Seconds is quite an achievement! Good luck.

hey gd3kamiswanbe (sorry if i spelled that wrong) i have a question for you. I'm not too familiar with the world of turbos, but I am thinking about installing the hks kit on my fit, because it is CARB legal. However, if I can expect to gain is around 127 whp, it does not seem like a worthy investment. I would just save my money for my dream car: 370z . I noticed you were able to get higher hp and torque, but by using higher boost levels. My question is, will using higher boost levels and a cat delete (is that right?) still allow my car to be CARB legal? thanks!

If the cat is gone, so is CARB exemption.

well on just the base kit with an exhaust the first dyno number i layed down was 145 thats with no tuning or boost upping. i spent a few hundred bux on injectors and a boost controller and an HKS certified tuner got about 180 to the wheels. and BTW that 370z is a great car i recently saw one at the local auto show and was very impressed.
