you need something to richen it up a bit....the increased heat from lack of fuel will cause the piston to expand more wearing the rings out quicker...increased heat also will wear the valves out quicker....bla bla bla you get where im going with this....

colder or hotter plug doesnt effect the amount of fuel going in...need a way to control the ecu...for someone like yourself the apexi afc would do the trick cheaply and easily

How does timing play into this; the way I understand is that when you add a lot of fuel, you can subtract a bit of timing. But when subtracting fuel, it is not good to add timing... or is it?

timing does not change the a/f ratio....when tuning get your a/f ratio set and then adjust timing....only way to set timing correctly is on a dyno...
the term to remember here is MBT or minimum best timing....your want the least amount of timing that creates max power...

So I tried the 13.1 , 13.2 and I think its a little rich for me,right know as I tested so far is runnning 13.5 from 3,000 to 5,500 then after that 13.2 feels really good and gives me a good amount of torque,as for half throttle I have it running 14.3 wich is giving me better acceleration with less throttle.

I have headers,cat delete, catback,CAI,weapon-r intake manifold,crank pulley.BTW i just installed AEM wideband.
My 2008 GD3 Sport has had a liberal amount of heat soaking tape applied to both the inside of my header cover and to the outside of my HKS air intake. My idle A/F is 15.1. when I'm driving it never goes below 14.1 13.8 is a hair on the rich side.
