if u like it, get a muffler shop to make u a straight pipe from there. shouldnt cost no more than 40 bucks. bring ur stock muffler with u cuz they'll need a flange.
I agree but probably will cost more than $40 though.

In your opinion, does it sound louder than an aftermarket exhaust? Does it compare to an aftermarket exhaust? It is by chance quieter? (this i doubt, cause there is NO muffler! hehehe) Just wondering!

Thanks

It is much louder than any of the aftermarket pipes I've heard. The sound is much deeper than most of the mufflers that are out right now. This comming weekend I am getting the straight pipe installed and will post pics, vids, and prices.

If anyone is interested in a straight pipe for there Fit I'll ask my guy and see if he can ship to us. I'll keep you posted.

Needs some sanity, wife will kill me!

But in the vids, i don't think it's very loud... Straight pipe exhausts are way louder in my opinion.

It doesn't sound like a harley, that's for sure. But it is louder than the other exhausts I've heard. It would prob be louder than the average person would want.

The video, with sound, is here. I love it. needless to say; I'm keeping it off
I really want to do this but I'm afraid that the parts near the end of the pipe might get damaged. Do you guys think it's safe?

Thats an interesting idea, an option to purchase a straight pipe with a nice tip thats bolts right on in place of the existing muffler. I would think it could be low cost and when you get tired of it or need to go to inspection you just unbolt it and put the old muffler back on. Nice idea, I am interesting in trying it, let us know if someone can make these for us, thx!

I'd really like to get this done but i guess that would require the muffler shop to cut the stock pipe before the muffler to use the connector. Then i couldn't replace it for inspection. I wonder if it would pass NYS emissions. Probably but i doubt it would pass a sight inspection.
