Just want to say thanks to Myxalplyx for bringing this to our attention. I got in touch with them via email and I'm currently awaiting a test unit like Myxalplyx received.

Does anyone know if it's possible reflash the CVT shift logic with KTuner?

I suspect that we will not be about to get more than 5% boost of the engine without extensive hardware modification. The CVT shift logic, however, got lots of room for improvement. A CVT programmed for maximum performance should beat a MT handily(given how F1 banned CVT).

Anytime! I'm just glad to see all of this come together. At least potentially!

I 'think' KTuner may be looking into it (They can respond). I did inquire about it to Vit Tuning back on 12/19. Here is what I asked -->
"Will my CVT be able to take advantage of a higher redline? Meaning, will the CVT top out and stay at whatever new redline has been programmed in. Currently it stays at 6500rpm and tapers down to 6200rpm while still going wide open throttle. It makes peak power at 6500rpm stock. I'm far from stock now though. I watched an online video that stated when the powerband has been shifted, the CVT would have to be reprogrammed to take advantage of the new power peak."

Vit's response was that this depended if Ktuner added transmission control or not. I see a section for 'Input/Output Control' with AT Controls and Drive By Wire settings that can be modified. However, when I click the AT tab, nothing comes up. Seems it may be something in the making. I just forwarded that email to KTuner (I think I may have forgotten to ask about it before to KTuner).

I'm sure either/or Ktuner or Vit may chime in at some point.

While I'm looking into many things I have no response for that right now. I'm working on getting initial support in first.

Once I get my car back, I'll get you the JDM ECU number, but any idea if your product could support?

Unless I can find the data somewhere I'd need one of the ECUs in order to add support.

Still crunching away at some of the neat '15 stuff.

12-13 MT support is being finalized. More to come.

Feel free to share what you think is neat about the 2015's. I need something to read badly. I've neglected my family and friends for this. I have even given up my religion and sold my soul to the devil. I just want some tunes.

^^Excellent! I want to stay at 6500rpm and eat a cheeseburger, while the guy grinds his gears 2 cars behind me.

I joke but this seems like a performance driver's dream. Outside of the possibly weak tranny, to have your engine hang at it's power peak the whole time while you go full throttle is a dream come true to me.

Wow..this is epic. So you are the first to reflash using a Ktuner on a Fit? You reflashing with a base map? Who will be doing your tuning?

I'm all ears on your first impressions and final result. Good stuff! And congrats!
