Ah yes, of course. Pardon me, as my enthusiasm has once again overtaken my memory ... or common sense ... or both.

So I checked my ECU last night, it is 37820-RB1-J35. Definitely it's different and I think the only way I would be able to get a KTuner is to acquire a scrapped ECU (not buying a new one for $700) and send it over to be analyzed. Guess J for Japan and A for Americas, just guessing in the last number set.

J's racing probably has a dump of the stock ECU. You could send that instead of an actual ECU.

I just need to add support into the software. No ECU needed.

Was going thru fitfreak and stumbled onto this I have a fit with k&n intake ,2nd cat delete ,b-pipe and muffler 91 octane I had a chance to throw it on a dyno while at a shop for a friend and was pushing 118hp /111 tq so to see these numbers and to see another car with a $700 tuner making only 7 more hp I don't see this being worth it at all seeing that I don't have a first cat delete or spark plugs I might make more power of i did and this is driving with the same mods for over a year so if the Ecu goes back to stock I'm confused cause mine hasn't at all I know there will be hate and wanting proof (no idea how to post pictures with iPhone) but sadly I just posted this to save people from wasting a lot of cash I have nothin to prove or care at all the fit is a slow egg a 50 shot of nos in a 90s d-series would be faster cmon people

I don't think there's hate here and I doubt anyone will want proof from you, but you're looking at the 125 plot which is an e-tune and not an actual dyno printout. Your dyno graph really can't be compared to that anyway.

The missing photo above that actually showed gains closer to 17hp. I've attached it again since it's missing. Also, the unit isn't $700 and you'd probably see good gains from a proper tune as well. Good luck with your setup!

Well my mistake and apologies for jumping the gun if this tune is gaining 17hp that extremely impressive I've seen Another fit untuned running what I have minus the 2nd cat delete and got 113hp /107 tq so 5hp/4 tq more witch is reasonable for a cat delete gains wise since bone stock to the wheels is 89 hp I believe so what would be the cost to have a ktuner installed on my 2013 manual for the mods I have out the door would be interested

Anyone who would shy away from a proper tune is not doing it right.

flashtuner> any and all boltons.

I may sound bold, but a fully stock Fit with a proper tune on the ecu will blow the doors off a stock ecu running with boltons.

No worries. I'd like to see more fully tuned dynos and data supporting good gains on the platform. That's why this thread is a dialogue and not product pushing.

You will need to have VitViper or someone tune it and he offers a package for that with the unit. I can't really talk pricing since I'm not here to sell and not a vendor, but the KTuner site and Vit's site will definitely have the info you seek.

I have a feeling someone will hit 120whp without touching any rotating assemblies.

My Fit sure responded well to boltons, colder sparkplugs, better wiring (ground, alternator, etc..) and higher octane.

Need to see Real Dynos from GE8s with a tune before I can pull the trigger and do this K-tuner and custom tune dyno. Want to keep my cost per WHP gained to well under $100/per.

Dang! If I was state side, I woulda pulled that trigger months ago! The Vitviper tune is a GE8 on a real dyno!

ECU reflash will be my final motor mod; my goal is a humble 115-120whp on a 5AT tranny.

Seriously. I pulled the trigger as soon as I found out about it. Can't believe we have an option that's cheaper than flashpro and I only know of one other person who bought one for GE.
