ok couple of questions. did you guys have to primer or spray it white first? and also, is it just best to take the vtec emblem off? cus I cant figure out how to remove it. thanks

I haven't done mine yet but will be doing it in March. You need to clean it, then prime it or it will peel off. Just put tape over the vtec emblem. It is too hard to remove otherwise. Post up pictures

Well I thought I would try to paint my cover but then decided that I really loved the way the CF cover looked
on the Fit. So I went that way - first JDM part on the car - hard to believe but I really liked the way it looks
and hope that it will definitely add some interest when
I hit a few local car shows.



The guys tell me that this engine bay doesn't look like a daily driver - too clean! I've ordered the Mugen radiator cap and a CF console cover which I am hoping will not look cheap - if it does - it will not be put on. I also ordered a CF overlay for the third brake light.

Rattle Can'd two coats on, (didn't even bother with a primer). Then went back and painted the honda back to black with a brush and some glossy model paint.

yea its from password jdm. horrible quality and overpriced imo. but it looks good in pictures. i swapped out the wet carbon one for a dry carbon one.

Here is mine. Bad quality cell phone pic. The pic doesn't do it justice. I'll take better pics later. I sanded out the bumps and hit it with NHBP with a satin clear coat.
