Yay!!
I finally got round to doing my engine cover this past weekend.
Now I just hope it can withstand the heat and not start peeling.
Im thinking maybe I should spray a clear layer on just to be safe.

Damnit! I was going to do a Spoon wannabe as soon as I found a spare cover to play with.

Getting the Spoon air cleaner, strut tower bar, engine torque damper, oil cap and radiator cap next. I'm going to Spoon out my engine bay.

just some regular outdoor type spray paint from the local hardware store. if you find one that is made specifically for plastic, even better.

I did mine yesterday I put three coats of Krylon Fusion for Plastic paint, color Blue Hyacinth. I figured that would bond better since the cover is plastic..anyways it turned out really nice I had a few runs on the sides but I think that was due to my novice as a spray painter.

Anyways I masked the vtec emblem but I found some paint got through. So for everyone's FYI Goo Be Gone works great at getting paint off the emblem right away. I'll post some pics up later after I clean my engine some more!
