Calgary & Alberta Fit Owners?
Greetings all,
Just wanted to do a quick post to say, what a difference a year makes. Last year when I got my Fit, I was probably one of the first in Calgary, and back then I rarely saw any other Fits when driving around. Now, I am seeing more and more of them.
Just last night driving over to Costco, another blaze orange fit was parked beside ours when we came out, we saw a blue non-sport, and a red fully tricked out sport on Heritage Drive (around 8 pm)... the Red Fit was really cool looking, with custom rims, exhaust, tinting, etc. etc. they also had a fitfreak window decal on the back.
I usually still wave at other fit drivers when I see them... still think we are lucky to be driving these cars.
Mine is a BOM Sport, AT with rear windows tinted... just hit 18K KMs.
Only problem so far is with the blower motor cutting out on me last week. Dealer could not find the problem. and it seems to be working ok driving around town.
cheers,
newfitland (cgy)

Also saw Nakamura yesterday on my way down to meet up with xdimsumx and sirhc...and crap i think it was a NHBP or VBP, (wasn't paying much attention) non-sport that kinda looked at me when I drove by in the opposite direction...
, although they do say it with more conviction each time.

Yes it must have been JDMish... I think that is what the license plate said.
We have been using our Fit more in the past few months, since our Toyota Sienna blew its engine on Easter Sunday... the good news is Toyota paid for the replacement motor.

Hey I remember somebody was talking about renting the track for a day? Maybe we should invite the Yaris club out for a Honda VS Toyota track day event or something to try and get the cost down? Anyway, just an idea I wanted to bounce off for comments.
Best idea ever
i still wish we surrounded that yaris with our fits at the first meet haha
How big is the Yaris club here, anybody know?
I would say we should invite the Chevy Aveo crowd, but it would make the track more like an obstacle course trying to drive around all the broken down ones

You guys should have put the VBP one in between the NBP Fits.
I saw an NBP Fit with beautiful window tint - silver on the bottom of the window, gradually fading to black-ish.
Dang, I should have logged in on Wednesday. I would have been up for wings.
Good news gang - I just picked up my ASM Fit today from the shop. He's as good as new!
