We moved the 70 road runner out and it saw sunshine for the first time in 6 yrs. to the Charger's bay the Charger went "under" a 68 road runner @ a freind's garage. and the hb is now in the big bay! All that for a 10 degree drop in temps for the day time high. Getting our garage in order, is Great!

Does not look too bad. Its slowly coming back to life. Did you get it started yet?

What engine is in the Charger? 440 or 383?

Cleaning is taking the most time

Hey how's the new truck treating you?

I just got the exhaust manf. to cat. gasket in today. We should have it running in the next week or two, no rush w/ Christmas and all. We did go over to a friend's home tonight and Rach received a wonDeRfUL set of peacock seat covers and a matching steering wheel cover.... o' - BOY! I'm def. letting her put those on After she's driving it.

Charger has a 383 .060 over, balanced and port matched.

New truck is nice and so far just a readjustment getting into tight places. I worked all day today and drove on the highway doing volume loads and it does not have the power my old truck had but it has a nicer ride.

I was just teasing about getting it running. I thought you were closer to it than you are but its going to be a nice car.

My brother in law is big into Chrysler and has a 62 or 64 imperial that had that motor. He pulled that motor and put in a 440 but still has the 383. He used it in a demolition race and loved it. Its in a crate right now.

Almost finished buffing the paint! 20 hours, bumper paint coming in tomorrow, the exhaust manifold is back on. Man I'm really love'n this project. If Rach doesn't watch out I'll sell this after it's finished and buy a CRX Si.

Take a video of it running, like you did with your Fit. Its sounds like its going to be better than new when your done and you would have no problem selling it for a profit if you wanted.

Can't wait for a virtual video tour there Big Mike. Hey no side mirrors, blinkers and CF wrapping on that sleigh there! But I'm sure those reindeers are running on hi octane with sticky shoes...

Happy Holidays to you and family Big Mike!!! Hope your Rach gets to touch the steering wheel when you're done...

Talking New and Improved

Painted the rear bumper w/ Nappa bumper paint 5 or 6 coats and it turned out really , this is the weekend that will see her running again! I will post a pic of the " new & improved hb" tonight. So stay tuned!!
9pm 1 new t-stat installed
Have to make a trip to the stealership tomorrow for a copper crush washer for the fuel line I'm wondering what that will cost? $2.00
When I took the t-stat apart I also found frog egg slime in there so I am guessing the lil lady I bought this from tried a "head gasket in a can" 1st. So a good flushing will be in order as soon as I get this might honda started
