You got a almost new car. Good Job Mike. Hope you can post mpg when you gather the info when you find time? I am thinking it will get around 35 mpg, that seems like the old Honda's norm.

WOW, That is better than I thought and its still winter. 40 plus is in your future. I guess Honda should go back to the old technology.

The Si seats are made from horrible material. The SiR seats are tweed.
Thanks Chris

Cool

Have the sub box almost done & it's getting a 12" Clarion SRW 1285 4 ohm dual voice coil sub, man that's a mouth full, haha. The box is 3/4" w/1"x"1 corner stiffners glued & screwed, finished plywood stained in red oak w/ 6 coats on semi gloss clear, it looks like a piece of furniture, w/ a Rockford Fosgate amp. Hence the cargo cover
Reset the valve lash & re-torqued the head, quieter.
Replaced the main relay for the engine. Def. starts quicker it started to act up today so after 24+ years it had done it's job, I read where when this relay acts up it won't let the coil fire and the check engine light will not go out. Funday

Reinstalled the rest of the clips and timing belt cover under the hood. There is a big problem with No storage or Any cup holders! wow what a difference between the FiT and the H.B.
Cut & installed a rear bumper applique.Turned out nice
Do not use Napa bumper paint this stuff is junk .

Hey Big Mike, just wondering if you've consulted with the "primary (intended) driver" with all the work and stuff you're slapping on... Or did that change also... Looking good!

Well today was work on Courtney's Neon all day to pay for the Hatchback Attack! A detail inside and out under the hood too! replaced belts, needs brakes> for another day . So the HB stayed out in the rain all evening and after bringing her back into the shop I checked and all the spots where it leaked b4 where dry! yeah. Last coat of semi-gloss on the sub box and finish that up tomorrow. A good place to test it will be in the MzFiT, see which sounds better the Rockford Punch or the Clarion Pro Series?

Mike, That car has come a long way and I am jealous. I need to start a project but finding a good donor car is hard around here for that money. Its a piece of art and you did a great job..

My first Honda back in '93 down on Okinawa was an '87 EF3 Si with the ZC DOHC motor. Had some HKS cams, 5Zigen Border exhaust, Tanabe exmani and some other things done to the sussy. What motor is that, crazy to see it badged as an Si being SOHC for me. I was spoiled by being in Japan. Even the EA had the brown top DOHC carb'd ZC over here.

Mike, nice little project for yourself, ummm I mean daughter you've got going on there. Just brings back good memories for me, so thank you.
