Its funny how that Civic resembles the Fit. The Fit is on steroids but the lines are close especially to the GD3. Cant wait for the video.

Set the Timing 18 BTDC the the idle 750 rpms, purr'n like a kitten. Let her run for an hour, heater works great/ AC: DOA?
Next stop insurance, inspection then muffler shop! The muffler on there now is rusted out on 1 side YEAH! Got a SS catback JDM from Cali.
Then for the "last" project (for now) is Tein springs, carpet and new seats. lol... o'ya and the hood mask but that's it! and for the other stuff that on it's way I've forgotten about...... and the amp and 12" sub but that's def. it ! & i don't mean it !!
From the Fit to the Hatch, Life Is Good TYL!

Your right Subie ddy's ryde just to shake the bugs out

And most importantly I want to thank each one of you for your positive comments! It has really helped keep the project on track.

So Hailie and I went Junk'n today and we found a 91 Honda wagon and a 91 HB. The wagon was the most complete. The HB was picked pretty clean. Hailie had the best time picking up lug nuts and bits and pieces asking what this or that went to. We had a great time wound up w/ a clock, console for the shifter, r.v. mirror cover, battery tray and side cover, man what fun!
Cleaned and installed all the above parts and striped the dr.'s side and front bumper.

I'm jealous also. We've been looking for a low dollar project and would LOVE a hatch. Your project is inspiring me to look harder.

Yesterday was flush the cooling system trying to get the "head gasket in a can" OUT! Took the top hose off and ran water though the system while the car was running. 2.5 hours later and the water in the bucket was clear, added radiator cleaner and have to run for 3-6 hours. Recieved the hatch lifting struts from Rock Auto for 30.00 shipped! & put those on and hung the broom handle back on the wall lol. Today was drain the trans axle and I found differential oil and it should be motor oil! (to my surprize) 10-30 syn. blend. for our area is in there now. Took her out for a short run and she ran smooth. Tomorrow new exhaust! If Big Al's is reasonable.

She now wearing a state inspection, have never work so hard on getting one of those on a car! Pulled the radio & behind where the wiring clips in is a 10a fuse and it was bad now I have Mozart! Have another amp & 12 wuoolffer to add in there some day? Rinsed out the cleaner in the rad.( It did a great job, had it in there for 6 hours) and added the anti-freeze. changed oil and filter the other day, I added Sea Foam and the oil was still good but ddirty! The new exhaust sounds fart cannish but that fits the car, Big Al's came through @ $95.00 which for today's dollar value was good, 205.00 installed s.s. cat back.Cut the 2 bolt OEM flange @ the cat. and added a 3 bolt flange. Clean the shop and set up for uphostery! driver's door panel and seat pan change over. It's a fun project and I know why, prayer! He has really been there though out this whole project.
Subbie and Glenn thanks for your support! and have a great day!
Big Mike
