ef civic hb our new Honda @117k
My first Honda back in '93 down on Okinawa was an '87 EF3 Si with the ZC DOHC motor. Had some HKS cams, 5Zigen Border exhaust, Tanabe exmani and some other things done to the sussy. What motor is that, crazy to see it badged as an Si being SOHC for me. I was spoiled by being in Japan. Even the EA had the brown top DOHC carb'd ZC over here.
Mike, nice little project for yourself, ummm I mean daughter you've got going on there. Just brings back good memories for me, so thank you.

From what I understand the 88 run didn't have a Si it wasn't brought back till mid 89, Just my twist w/ the badge it's off an 85 CRX.
You had a ZC ? man I really like that hood on them! They're CF repops here, but the price is almost what I paid for the '88, but that would look sooooo goood!
. There's also a B16A/5spd M/T for sale w/mugen chip88k on the clock= 1,750.00 now that would be an improvement
But it's not for me it's for my daughter

Ya I bought a set of covers and this is 1 of the few times I did not like what I purchased. After removing 1 of the APC covers and seeing it was cast aluminum
I just refinished what came w/ the ol' girl and that was that, No cost.

Repositioned the height of them so they're not like up under the dash.
Going to find somewhere I need to go today and take her for a run

Something else that is functional that you could probably trick out a bit would be some fat grounding straps from the chassis to the negative battery terminal, couple points on the trans, block, intake manifold and head. Then an additional dedicated fusible link from the alternator to the positive battery terminal.
Improving voltage is one of the most important and often overlooked things you can do in an EFI car.
Got an itch'in for bronze tint for the very clear windows. Called up a shop in VA. Beach to look @ the Suntek 18 and 40% bronze. I will prob. go w/ the 18% as night driving is hard enough w/o mak'n it worse. All depends on the over all appearance and for now w/ the almond white color of the car the bronze will have a clean look.

The car should look good with the subtle tint.
You have your numbers backwards. Tint % is based on how much light is let through... it's backwards to how we naturally think of it. We automatically think how much is the window tinted, not how much light does it let through. So 5% is the darkest of the dark and 70% is what most factory glass is tinted at (you can't really see it until its broken, most have a bluish tint).

Well went pick'n after work this morn'n and got a few things. 1 thing we have needed was the metal cover that lays on top of the spare tire found
that in what has become part of the our hatch now; a 90 civic wagon. While I was look'n around I spied the shifter knob so now the console & knob
are back in use in our hatch, the spare tire cover, splash shields, rear view mirror cover, a nice set of window cranks interior lighting, clock and vents!
Maybe I should add the wagon's VIN to our hatch's haha.
So after I got home we put together a trampoline with 30mph winds. Me and the kids all had a good time for the most part till I tried it out lol that was ugly!
The lil' ones loved it though.
Painting the head liner tomorrow after church. Going with a little lighter color it's a almond color now and it's going to be an off white tomorrow.
It's sure not a fast car, but I put 150+ miles on it this week @ a little less than 1/4 tank.
The gauge has to be lagging it's good on gas but not 50+ mpg,
I wish!
Well prob change up some pix to show the progress soon.
Cyallater!

Makes the interior feel so much cleaner.

Nice weight to it heavier than the last knob. Shortened the height of the shifter because the threads are @ the top in a brass sleeve instead of @ the bottom in plastic.
