Texas Fits, Anything goes thread

Ha, no but that darn thing did not want to line up right with the hood release nor did the bottom screw want to go back in. I fought with that thing for like 10 minutes.
Edit: I might snag and add a pic of it on my cardomain page later on when it cools down. Its nothing fancy, just a zeta dead pedal and strut king pedals.

Hello Hootie! It has been cloudy off and on today but the closest rain is up in the northern part of Denton County and it is a heavy thunder storm... I miss the hell out of living in Central Texas and all of the exciting thunder, winter ice storms tornadoes and 60 mph + straight line winds...The last time a tornado passed over this house was on Christmas Eve 4 years ago and it tore up a mess of stuff and trees and roofs from damaged houses had the road to town blocked.

Well, come down south one day and enjoy some of this goofy weather. There is plenty of if to go around.
How did your house turn out in that Christmas Eve tornado? Nothing too bad I assume.

I was in the bathroom when I heard the thing go over the house and knew what it was and I was very quick about doing my business since the sound pretty much scared the crap out of me... I guess that being at the top of a hill on a long ridge line is why it went over us but the power went out and there was some trees uprooted on the south end of my property... I would like to meet you if I am ever down that way. My wife's cousins own Parrot Eyes on South Padre and we haven't been to his new location. They have para-sailing and jet-skis as well as a cool bar and live music much of the time... I'll bet you could tell me where all of the best taquerias are located.

Ummm, I love Taquerias. Not too many to choose from in our neck of the woods.
We ate at "aSieL's" in Lake Jackson last Saturday, they have the craziest things on their menu. I had the Do-Nut Burger:
Glazed Do-Nut
Thick Bacon
Sharp Cheddar
1/2 LB Grilled Patty
Glazed Do-Nut

That kind of sounds like the Luther burger on The Boondocks, might have to hit that up after class one day.
There is a good local taqueria in Angleton that we go to before getting to the track called AHOT (Angleton House of Tacos), its located on highway 35 about a block or two west of the 35/288B intersection. If you are traveling west, it will be on your left, across the road from a used car lot and to the right of a pawn shop.
The parking lot isn't all that great though and if you go there do not park on the side of the building. I scrapped on the side of the building before a few times in the Fit (which is slightly taller than stock sadly), a friend scrapes in her MINI, and another friend scrapes in his 92 Silverado there.

That sounds pretty familiar though I can't remember were in Angleton I read that name before possibly south of the courthouse. Might pass through that way tomorrow on the way to school now. Why do you ask?

Also, para-sailing and jet sking sounds like pretty awesome, the same goes for the live music. As for taquerias, there isn't too many out here but Angleton House of Tacos is great. Their "Hippos" with chorizo is delicious. Normally it has potato, egg, cheese, beans, and bacon but the chorizo just gives it that extra umph...Dang, I want one right about now.
Edit: For those who didn't get the Luther comment earlier, see the video below.

Damn I wish I would have stayed longer and gotten to chill with you. We were the first group there that helped set up the course. Had to leave right when that rv pulled up to get to work.
