Some of you may have known that my clutch was dying out. I gotta say Exedy stage 2 clutch is not a lasting clutch. I've had that for about a year and it was horribly failing on me to where I could barely drive anymore. To replace it, I got a Spec Clutch Stage 3+. We'll see how that goes.

Very nice clutch. Hopefully engaging and disengaging it won't be too much of a hassle. I hear that the numerically higher the clutch stage, the harder it is to push and release the clutch.

Spec clutches are known not to be foot heavy, but still have the strength to hold high hp cars. These are not like your ACT clutches where its very noticable from each stage numbers.

I imagine I will need to upgrade my clutch sometime in the future so I will stayed tuned in for more info from you on how this one works out for you. I'm easy on brakes and clutches but since my motor mounts have crapped out and need replacing I'll be stashing aside cash for other upgrades..... Thank You Blue Cell for all of the good information you have shared in your posts....

Engine mounts are going out? What are you getting next? I currently use the Innovative mounts at 70. They vibrate the car like crazy and makes my car really loud inside. I'd recommend getting the softest one on those if you daily your car. It's still quite a dramatic difference even at their softest. Or....I still have my OEM ones laying around if you need.

I'm thinking about injecting whatever the preffered goop is is that is being used first... THMotorsports told me they would beat any other price on the Innovative mounts so if the squirt job is bogus I need to look into getting some of the street mounts from them.... I don't dump my clutch from a stop or when shifting and yet I could feel the slack in the stock mounts right off of with the boost upgrade... I do appreciate the offer but think that they aren't up to the extra load strain, thanks though for letting me know you have them available.

Haha, well you can just have mine if you want to goop or "seamen" them. It's not like I'm going to ever use em again. Solid mounts won't ever break on me.

I haven't had a chance to drive it yet. I will let you all know. From what my friend told me, the clutch feel softer than the last clutch for sure and grabs at the very low point of the pedal. He said it was very easy to drive. I also had my clutch delay valve deleted. Lines cost me around 70 bucks with all the fittings.

Thanks for letting me use your D60 and lenses as well as the numberious tips for shooting pics at the event. I'm actually dispointed that I missed out on the VW "trippoding" around the course. During its first run, I was looking away (at the Impreza) and didn't get a chance to snag a pic again since I had capped up the camera and the driver(s) didn't drive it as hard during the following runs in the morning session. Same goes for the morning rear wheel drive and afternoon sessions, of course those were due to a dead battery.

Thanks, but I can't take all the credit for this. Jason (Saved) gave me a lot of pointers and tips throughout the day.

Good Job Hootie! Photography is fun and each to their own. You'll get your own style once if you shoot more pics.

Wow after looking at those photos I would have never guessed you were a newbie at photography. I do photography too, it is a great way of getting out and just being able to relax. If you ever want any tips or pointers let me know. I may be young but I have been doing it for 5 years and have learned alot. And don't be afraid to ask. I had to ask hundreds of questions to know what I know now.

Where are you located Hootie? Maybe we can meet up and take photos and I can show you some cool tricks with the camera

Thanks guys! I enjoy photography, its really relaxing and allows me to use some creativity when setting up and taking pics. One thing that I really enjoyed when I was using Jason's D60 how much easier it was to snap a shot of my subjects, both still and moving, compared to the camera I am used to using which is a DXG 506V video camera.

Using the DXG, I had to focus on being completely still to get a good shot like this or like that, which was very frustrating at times; but with a DSLR like the D60, its not nearly as critical to stay still and I can shoot moving objects. On top of that, the D60 has way more settings that I can tailor to help me achieve the shot that I want as well as has swappable lenses.

@ Mr. Bubbles: I out in Rosharon, but right now I'm crazy busy due to college. I won't really have any free time on my hands until like December. LOL Anywho, if you are ever down this way we could meet up and shoot some photos. Just give me a shout in advance.

It sure gets late in a hurry when you are having fun.... I can't wait for the cold front and lower intake air temperatures with the extra boost.... I forgot.... I don't thing my crapped out engine mounts will stay together if I take too much advantage of the cooler air.
