Hey guys, new Fit owner with a '10 model in Rockwall, suburb of Dallas next to Lake Ray Hubbard.
Any of you guys in my neck of the woods?
I do allot of my own wrenching and when funds permit I'll do some upgrades to mine, I miss the HID lighting from my last couple cars so I'll do that, then suspension upgrades, and new rollers/tires.

Would love to, I had seen the thread on it, but I'm training for a bike race and can't travel this weekend.
I wish I could go, I'd like to meet some of you guys that have modded the Fits to see what works etc. before I start buying parts later this year.
How many of you guys are in the Dallas area? I have never seen a modded GE8 on the road around here. Saw some nice ones on a trip to the west coast a few months ago.

I lived there until early 1988.. I had a girlfriend that lost control of her Corvair and ran off of the road where the bridge on I-30 crosses the lake... She was lucky that the lake hadn't filled up at the time.. Those ETSU coeds were some wild things in the late 60s.

Lmao wow.
I have friends in Denton, Texas and parents live in fort worth, texas. I usually go home once a month. The Red Fit is mine, Idk which one it is, I think its a GE8, I still get the two mixed up. :/ As far as
Modding I am saving up to order the Movement kit from Honda and I got to replace the fog lights, one was shattered. Don't laugh on how ghetto I fix it guys lol. This is gonna be redonculous, clear tape and chrome paint on the inside so I can still use it. Some genius tried unrusting my driver side FL with acid and it ate away the shiney part. :/ my other side shines bright but my drivers side doesn't even shine on the street. lol but cheap way to fix it till I get the money.

Don't sweat anything, after all, we are all bozos that should be riding the short little bus but drive little station wagons instead... Imagine being less than a year from getting Social Security check and driving around in one of these little wagons that doesn't look much different than what kids just about young enough to be my grand kids drives..

I decided to get my car tinted at Mother's in Austin. Sun Tint only supplies SunTek and SolarGard and I wanted to go for Llumar ATR. I tried to do a lot of research and read a lot of opinions on TintDude.com. Mother's has a very good reputation around here. I'll let yall know how it goes.

Hello.. Duke was out on the porch playing with a squirrel he caught and killed... He is a lot of fun but I enjoy watching the squirrel too. He is a crazy cow dog.

What you don't get that yet? I have been getting the Canadian equivalent for 4 years and have pissed it all away on Fit Mods.

I wouldn't mind being up there in Canada right now.. 8:50 PM and its 96 degrees outside.. I've seen it over 100 degrees at 1:00 AM while I was at Stubb's in Lubbock eating barbecue out on the patio while trucks carrying cow manure were pulling off of I-27 and heading east. It was rather pleasant compared to a lot of situations I had been in at that time of the morning and the barbecue was delicious.... I'll bet Canadians never experience anything like that at 1:00AM.

What the cow shit of the heat?

I lived on a farm so shoveled my share. We have had it hot well for us in 30degree C range the last few weeks with humidity. Just too unpleasant for me to tackle the heated seat install I need to do.

I've decided to sell one of my cameras. I'll included extras (Tripod, dolly, reflector, SD cards) if sold through someone from fitfreak.
Panasonic AG-HMC40 w/XLR & Sony Mic
