...what the hell! I want to go to EDC for sure
Today, I've realized how uncoordinated my foot work is by driving a manual for the 2nd time ever and ended up stalling the GD3 what felt like a dozen times.
Thankfully though the teacher was very patient and informative so it was a fairly good lesson. No gears were ground surprisingly; however, I did mis-shift mistaking 2nd for 4th. Fortunately though, the RPMs only got up to ~5k and no where near red line.

omg as I read this, I was drinking juice and I almost sprayed it all over my keyboard... LMAO scared?

Set Your Goals! Bay Area FTW!
lol i guess in high school it was unappealing for me because of the people from my school that were going to EDC were.. how do you say.. retarded and/or druggies. but now that i'm older and more mature it just seems like a good time and less of a lingerie party

I am a traitor.
Aside from getting a car (which was freaking awesome) my life has been really stressful. I got into the University of Miami, which is exciting, but my senior year of high school really sucked. At least it's almost done. And you? Driving a stick, eh?
Congrats on getting into U of Miami. Life's full of ups and downs, just take this last year of high school as if just a minor set back and continue looking forward to the better, more positive things coming for you in life.
I've been alright, busy as hell with school but still kicking. Yeah, I've been trying to learn how to drive a manual. Starting from stand still is a pain since I have no leg coordination what-so-ever but after that its cake walk! LOL
Edit: That is as long as my short attention span doesn't interfere too. Ever accidentally release a clutch while the car is idling in gear, mistaking it for being in neutral?
Whats the specs on your little Zoom-Zoom here?

I wish someone would teach me how to drive a stick, I would love to learn.
The Mazda3 is the 2.5L hatchback with the 5-speed auto. I think like 170hp and torque or something. It just drives really nice and it drives better than my sister's Mazda3 (you can see it in the back, it's the gray 09). I'm really happy with it and I really like to drive on my own.
What school do you go to and what are you studying?

Thats cool! Watch out for the mod bug, I'm sure the temptation of picking up Mazdaspeed parts is already there. haha Since when have you've had a flickr page? I don't recall seeing you post any photos.
I'm going to Brazosport College for an associates degree in Automotive Technology. Almost done with it, just need to do 3 more auto classes then get a job and do 3 co-op classes then I'll be done.

so i started watching LOST on netflix. i hate this damn show. i hate that i watch episode after episode no matter how late it is, no matter how early i have to get up for work. i hate that i expect answers on the following episode only to have my questions answered with another question. i hate that as i type this i'm watching another episode in the background... i hate this damn show.
