The Post Whore Thread V.2
I vote WRX. If it wasn't 50+ miles to go to a Subaru dealer I'd likely be in a WRX sedan right now.
I've painted my progress bar flat black to blend in with the undercarriage of the Fit.
Just do a nice little scuff job on it with a fine grit sand paper on the bar, wipe the bar clean with alcohol and a cloth, then spray a few light coats on the bar.
When spraying take your time and do the bar one side at a time... basically letting one side dry up a good bit before flipping the bar over. You might have to tap out the holes for the screws to go through if some paint gets down in there by the way.

WRX.
Although I'm biased since a friend of mine has a GRB STi with Advan's and the only Varis kit in the USA.
For the money though...I'd be in a 2011 Mustang GT.
Or maybe a Subaru BR-Z. Most likely the Mustang though.

I find it ridiculous Paul just posted a nyanit link when I was playing with that just 1 hour ago.
That shit cray.

I hear a single click when I take off from a stop... Either I need to tighten up something on the front suspension or it's an early warning that the CV joints are getting worn.
Yeah, that's what I've been hearing for a few weeks when leaving work; however, don't single those out to be the source of the sound of course.
When last Saturday rolled around and all I heard was a fairly frequent clicking when heading home... Then after I did a few circles in a cul-de-sac going both clockwise and counter-clockwise I pretty much narrowed down the possible cause.

And of course I heard a noise from my front end this afternoon. Very faint. We will see.
Oh well. Sway and intake are on the way. Roof is still on the plate....waiting for something to fall into place. For now, a vinyl sample is covering the antenna hole. Funsies.

Hmm... How many miles is on your Fit? Same question to you too T.C.

It sounds sort of squeakish. I may need to just grease something. Idk. I'm going to wait it out a bit. The back is rattling itself a bit anyways due to the drooping headliner and loose c pillar panel. Oh well. I may be able to get the roof done feb 17th. I'll find out tomorrow. For now, I have some white vinyl covering the antenna hole. Way less conspicuous than the blue painters tape I had before.

If not, keep a good ear out for it so you can pin-point it and see whats what.
Yes. That is sad.
I'm hoping to keep the fit forever...but in 3 years let the little one drive it and get me a WRX for daily. And then when he has moved on and found something else, I'll take the fit back and make it boy racer style.

41500 or real close to it... I don't have any doubt that the CV joints aren't going to go as far as they would if I hadn't gone out and turned my car into the wild ride that it is now... I was always replacing CV joints on my VW diesel pickup.. It 60 HP and gobs of torque, plus it was severely dropped for awhile on Eibach springs which severely shortened the life of suspension components and inner and outer CV joints.
