Keep looking at yours. Like a said, intermittent issue. If you have looked 1 or 2 times, you could miss it for sure.
Rest assured, it's not skewing the mpg. It just logs the peak mph for that trip reading as read from the ECU. The false peak being tossed by the ECU is just another Fit defect. Look at the avg mph, it's not effected. Beside the mpg calc is MILES/gals not mph anything.
Not defending the product just trying to calm the fears........
