Okay I haven't been playing with the Fit for awhile now. So tell me about this hondadata box for a grand. what exactly does it do and is it for forced induction or NA?
What kinda HP can it release from our so so 1.5? I have a GD3 A/T and have the most fun in S mode on sp7.

I think it's lees than a grand for the Flashpro. But it does apply for both NA and FI Fits. As for the horses that it can release, I think it depends on your tune?
Nobody has posted their numbers yet ever since Hondata released this unit.

But a lot of people are saying that the Flashpro is worth the money for the stuff you can do with it. I hope to get my hands on one someday.

I took it in to have it cleaned in a heated garage. While I was waiting for the snow to melt out of the wheel wells I replaced my cabin air filter with a fram one with arm and hammer baking soda in it! Sounds like a marketing ploy but well have to see how it performs.

Then I came home just as a huge RWD pickup truck was trying to get out of a snowed in parking space. I tried to push and had the rear wheel kick up a bunch of dirt and snow right in my fa as it was spinning out (yuck). I have a hide-a-hitch installed in the back so I offered to tow the truck. He installed the tow line in the rings on the side of the hitch and with a few tries (and one stall on my part) I managed to pull out the truck!

The owner of the truck was laughing out loud as we undid the tow line; I guess he never imagined my puny little put put could get him out of a snow bank!

Got me new tires. Went with some toyo extensa hp's. was thinking about going back to the original 55 series. But ehhh they would look to balloon ish. So i went with 50 series again. Also bought me a new cabin filter from Honda & some coolant. Gonna probably flush the coolant and put in the new filter tomm. Oh and I finally got to clean my rims (inside & out) now they lookin hella clean. Gonna make that a once a month thing.

Works like a champ. The lovely Mrs. seems to be happy with it.

Picked up the GD from the shop... After three tries, the steering wheel is still not centered correctly. It was fine before the alignment...

^^ What were they doing a string alignment?

Take it back to them telling them the wheel was centered prior to service and it is crooked now. Unless the tech working on your Fit doesn't know the equipment, the shop is using outdated technology, or your Fit has something bent/damaged/excessively worn then they should have easily gotten the alignment right and the steering wheel straight.

I took it back three times... Each time, they were sure they had it centered, and each time, it was exactly the same. We're not talking a significant amount... Just enough to drive a person crazy. I've decided to take it somewhere else to have the wheel centered.
