Weird. My DC Sports header wouldn't allow for the use of the heatshield. Unless I'm a complete idiot, which could totally be the case. I just left it off and haven't had any problems... yet.

Yeah a bubble in a tire is dangerous. The tire is toast. Its basically the inner tire liner coming through the separated steel belt plies. No bueno.
Yep. As soon as I saw the bubble I knew the tire is toast.

Goodluck on the WR header, I also had issues fitting the 2nd piece in because it leaves a really tiny gap causing an exhaust leak. Fixed mine using a tiny bit of muffler cement.

The WR race header is a 2-pc, the Y-pipe is what hits the shield which causes it to rattle on cruise.

My bad. Which heat shield were you talking about? I was talking about the one on the header itself, not one of the other ones on the way back to the exhaust tip.

Installed the Revo short shifter and DC Sports front strut bar.. The short shifter is very smooth and a nice short throw, definitely impressed for $85. The strut bar is i bit bigger then I expected but install was easy and I can definitely feel the difference hitting the curves on the turnpike exit doing 80mph lol

I was talking about the one after the header where the slope is. I took it off for now because bending and hammering it doesn't work. I will get a sheet of those adhesive heat foils to replace it.

I was thinking about welding it together making it a 1 piece. I've heard of the exhaust leak issues in the past and though it was fixed as well as the fitment issues. Hmmm…..

Originally it was one piece actually, but they made it into two pieces to installation is a lot easier.

Yeah, welding it would've been a good idea but it will be harder to shove the header in. Who knows maybe I just got a dud? But the muffler cement works well for me. Kinda acts like a sealant. Haha.

Btw, did you get a cel eliminator? I got one but now that I've thought about it, I really don't need a 2nd o2 because I don't have a cat anymore. ) I shall leave it for now until I get my Flashpro to disable the o2.

Removed wheels and dismounted the tires. Need to put a fresh paint on. The brake dust eats it up. Then mounting new tires. Toyo RR 225/45 15

Yes I have a CEL eliminator. I did it before I got FP. Works great. I haven't taken the 2nd O2 out even though I have it tuned. I will be running a cat though for STF class in autoX. I believe someone else welded their WR header and it was a challenge but got it in.

Filled my rear h-beam bushings with urethane today. WHAT A PAIN IN THE ASS! I saw the GE guys doing it and it looked so easy. Had to disassemble my struts and coil over perches as well as pretty much have the whole H-beam floating to get the bushings accessible.

Me too. Gonna give it till Friday maybe Saturday to put everything together. These are trickier then you would think. After the first one the second one was easier to get to and I have a better plan on filling it.

I plan to also do the motor mounts for the time being until I go to innovative mounts.

I wish Energy Suspension will make a PU master set for us Fit folks.

Completely disappointed in Honda. They had done both recalls which are the low beam issue and the power master switch. I did not know that they did both recalls until I called in yesterday and found out. Now ever since then my power master switch as been making a buzzing sound like the switch is short circuiting. The advisor told me that this maybe the case and now I need to wait an hour so they can replace the part.

To be honest there isn't much on the Fits compared to let's say an older civic. Think about it only 2 bushings in the rear and some for the engine and tranny.

I had my DC Sport headers installed by a Honda mechanic and he left off the heat shield too, said it wasn't needed.. So I'de say don't worry about it
