Ya it's a blast. We usually pitch tents and sleep at the track all weekend unless you want to do the hotel stay that is about 45 min drive. If you have any questions let me know and I'll answer them.

Exclamation Help with my ver first fit

Hi Guys and Girls,

I am new to this and really need your help. I got my fist Honda (fit) 2006/8 model with a smart key card from Japan.

I decided to install an after market radio, then yesterday installed an amplifier. Now I am freaking out.. as I ways testing the amp I noticed that it would cut out I figured it could be battery related since these cars come with the tiniest car batteries. Now my interior dash lights are off. only thing working are my headlamps and hazards. the smart key thing will not turn. Battery tested, fuse checked all good. no new radio working worst of all no car to drive.

Please help....

Kinda messed up eh?

How about disconnecting the radio and amp as the car was working before you installed these. If does not start then check your fuses again.

So it worked with the aftermarket radio but died after the amplifier was installed? Or were both put in at the same time?

I have disconnected the radio which worked before installing the amp. I have power to my headlights, brake lights.
I get no power to the smart key system that will allow me to turn the key.

It's gonna be hard to diagnose over the Internet as there are so many things that could be bad..... probably having to do with the installation of the aftermarket parts. My recommendation. ... send it to a shop to figure out..

There's a reason it's a $29 tire.

That number is with the Stock Basemap, my mods and 93 octane. I'm also NOT running IK22s yet and haven't tuned yet...

Had something epic in store for this week BUT it backfired... badly. So now I'm shooting for 100 WHP N/A for the time being.

NOt bad for the basemap. I was on 91, IK20's, and the stock mid pipe. After the tune I got 101whp so you should have no problem getting over 100whp. I'm assuming that after the IK22 swap and the mid pipe i'm around 105ish whp. I'm really hoping after the WR header, new axle-back, and fluid swap to get around 112-115+whp.

Replaced rear shocks with Monroe air shocks (for hauling). I usually fill the shocks to 40 psi. If I boost the pressure to 60-80 psi for hauling then forget to let the air out again, the back end raises and the car handles like a cow on ice. Recently installed a Progress Rear Sway Bar, which makes my 08 Fit handle like stock even when I neglect to readjust the shock pressure, and is loads of fun on windy roads with proper shock pressure. Not bad!
