Sprintex supercharger IS AVAILABLE!(GE8)
1. 32-35
- 32 local driving
- 35 highway
2. 93 Octane is fine
3. Car is stock but eventually upgrade to a high flow exhaust and keep at least one of the CAT. Cold air intake would do from day one of supercharger installation.

Any progress on the testing? I figure if this is being ran through a bunch of test and modification will be needed this maybe off until the later part of 2014. Which is okay with me I needed something to do to the car in 2015 when I plan on having it paid off.
I still remember that Sprintex start accepting deposit at end of July,
and the kit suppose to be shipped to customer as early as middle of August...
I was under the impression that Sprintex had "adapt" the kit for use in USDM Honda Fit,
something about the exhaust of USDM Honda Fit that is different (I forget what it is)...
but later I heard the wiring harness need to be modified too...
well, this mean at that time no USDM kit were build yet...
because if they had,
then they would had figured out about the USDM wiring that is different than other world market wiring...
I think Sprintex just want to make sure there is enough demand on the market before they are willing to invest in making the wiring (and other adaptation) required for USDM Honda Fit,
but of course if at that time, they tell that the kit is not ready,
almost nobody would be willing to put deposit...
that mean from end of July when they start taking deposit until today,
Sprintex is still in the "developing" process...
Developing mean/include testing for reliability in real world application for USDM spec Honda Fit...
Too bad, they did not disclose about this when they start taking the deposit back in July...
I can understand Sprintex decision if I put myself in their position,...
but at the same time I could also understand the frustration or the people
who already pay the deposit. This is almost November...
almost 3 months since they pay their deposit.
I had no doubt that sooner or later, Sprintex will deliver the kit to the customer who had pay the deposit,...
but
well, all we (we = the customer who had paid deposit and prospective customer like me) can do is just wait patiently.

Yeah, here..
Hybrid engine which has no plans (as of news reports up to this date) of coming to the US market.
I really don't mean to be a pessimist, but this is really reminiscent of the last time they said it was going to be available.
Hope I'm wrong though.

Actually some people have been waiting since 2011.

On display will be our newly developed JK V6 Jeep system. We will also feature, TJ & XJ 4.0l Jeep systems, Mini Cooper upgrade system providing over 210HP in stage one form, a US spec Honda Fit Gen II system and an OEM Proton 1.6l system.
Also on display will be our Sprintex Supercharger range the Series 5-150, Series 5“210 and Series 5“335, these high performance units are manufactured from aircraft quality aluminium, boasting billet rotors, forged billet end plates and extruded billet cases.
These attractive, compact units are available in short drive and either modular or integral extension drives, with easy to change four bolt pulleys. All units are equipped with precision double row bearings and high speed Teflon® coated Viton® seals.
With displacements of 0.58 liters, 0.94 liters and 1.46 liters, these Sprintex units are the most efficient superchargers available today and as a result typically do not require intercooling on low to medium boost applications.
We look forward to seeing you there.

Also Sprintex's sales manager has stopped responding to my emails.
Do they really think their going to sell many superchargers for the USDM CR-Z???? When the CR-Z already has the JR Supercharger system & the HKS on the market, both of which have some sales and are already installed on USDM ZF1's (CRZ)...

I heard they are not bringing the Fit Hybrid seems that it would sell a lot better then the Insight and bring the Fit sales up at the same time. Maybe even increase aftermarket parts manufacturers attention to the car. On this product seems that they would kind of have the USA and Canada market to themselves for forced induction on the GE does not seem like anyone else has anything in the pipeline around 300k vehicles in total Honda Fit Sales Figures - GOOD CAR BAD CAR.

This is random but somewhat on topic - I really hope this actually goes through. I'd like to see a supercharger on the market in the future, as it's the route I'd like to go once I have the funds saved up.
Watching from a near distance.

Same here, just having the option would be nice.
Honda released in a statement that there's no plans for a GE8 hybrid in the USA at the time. Not sure if it was mentioned there, but if they do that would cannibalize the already dismal Insight & CRZ sales.
What they need to do is offer the Insight in hybrid & EV. The CR-Z needs either an all motor (more powerful) version, and a hybrid version. And the Fit they should offer all-motor, hybrid & EV. Let the sales sort out the survival of the Fittest part
Me too.
I'm really trying to stay positive with Sprintex "renewed" interest in the USDM GE8 supercharger, but after being around the first time this was attempted, and seeing how some things don't add up this second time around, it's hard to "keep the faith".
Just like Alpina I'd like to see this tested & proven for reliability before I buy it. I'd even pay more if they can get Hondata to support/collaborate with them to offer the Sprintex kit with Flashpro (just like Jackson Racing does with their Supercharger kit for the CR-Z). I've been ready to buy.

Inspiration from the "New Edge Performance" website (not sure how old this ad is)
Honda Fit
Honda Fit performance part now available at New Edge Performance. The new Honda Fit is a throw-back to the mid-1980's Honda Civics and CRXs. The Honda Fit power-to-weight ratio is very similar to that of those legendary Civics and CRXs perhaps the Honda Fit will follow in their giant killer footsteps! The Honda Fit aftermarket is blowing up with lots of new Honda Fit performance parts and accessory.
The Honda Fit will give rise to a rebirth of Honda Tuning. Honda Fit performance is exploding with the basics like Honda Fit exhaust, all the way up to Honda Fit Supercharger kits in development. It is going to be an exciting time to be a Honda Fit tuner.

Sprintex is getting ready for sema and its why they are hard to reach currently, I don't think they are ignoring any questions.
I think they will have more public info after sema.
It is the crz. The kit should work on both.
The one I have been driving has been flawless so far
and I don't have to worry about getting run over by 18 wheelers with the extra power it has.

Post up a few pics of the installed supercharger on the USDM GE8 Fit you're driving. I'm sure we'd all like to see.
So they start development/testing on the USDM GE8 Sprintex supercharger kit, then when it gets here, they decide to test it for the CR-Z... meanwhile they're taking USDM GE8 owner deposits. or something to that nature?
Do they really think they're going to sell many superchargers for the USDM CR-Z???? When the CR-Z already has the JR Supercharger system & the HKS on the market, both of which have some sales and are already installed on USDM ZF1's (CRZ)...

I think around this as to price http://www.andysautosport.com/honda/...x95000001.html
I would be happy with around 150hp figuring the weight of the car I read somewhere around 160hp but nothing about whp.

I found it funny that no picture on USDM Honda Fit posted on Sprintex facebook page so far,
while they post many other pictures...
especially when several Honda Fit owner already pay a deposit for their kit !
We understand if the picture still show some kind of prototyping,
but at least we see it

I mean, tomorrow is November 1 already...
