[PORTFOLIO] HONDA JAZZ/FIT GE8 AUTOMATIC SUPERCHARGED DAILY USE

thats the link, seems as though he is using the sprintex setup and no custom tune, I am happy with what it will do alone I was just wondering what thoughts were on room to grow later down the track.

I'm loving the one-off Ti exhaust. Uggghhhh, why oh why Kent Works will you not entertain my request for a one-off Ti.

I have been talking with a gentleman from Sprintex. Here is some information from our discussion:

"We have developed a USDM version of the kit. The kit integrates the EGR valve and pipework. The parts have been designed and prototyped."

They are just tied up in some other projects right now, so the production kits have not been manufactured yet, but should be out soon. The kit will come in a full version (SC, plug and play SMT unit) and a hardware only version. The plug and play unit will be locked to their software and not tuneable by the end user.

RWD Fit FTW!!!!! Would go turbo if i had a MT Fit but the added low end torque the S\C will deliver could be fun on a AT Fitlike mine! Could this fit on a GD3? :P

Marko!

So I am in the process of Purchasing the Sprintex kit and I have been speaking with a rep named Mark and he said that they can sell me a kit with an unlocked PiggyBack and the software to modify it sounds good to me!

Interesting.
The rep that I have been in contact with said that they use the PerfectPower SMT8 for engine management, but he also stated that they cannot sell me an unlocked version.

He can sell me a "hardware only" kit and he mentioned that the GReddy Emanage Ultimate has been used by others to tune the system with success. I still would like their software and tune, with the ability to make small adjustments as I upgrade the intake, exhaust etc.

Yeah that's what I wanted too, originally he told me that they can only sell me the locked Piggyback or hardware only version and I would need my own tune, but yesterday he got back to me and said they'll do that for me which is very nice of them but odd at the same time.

When I eventually get it in the next week or so I'll take many pictures and video for all who are interested and answer whatever questions I can.

I am looking to buy this as well when it comes out here in the US.. I am about to register on their forum and keep track on it. they actually have a section devoted to the GE8 supercharger kit, and its only topic is of the US version coming out in 2012.

I wonder how maintenance is going to be on this thing.. Many people are right that many people bought the fit because of the uses of how much of an awsome stock car this is. But the real question for me about this is how is the maintenance? Can i still retain the normal manufacture maintenance intervals? Are sparkplugs going to need to be changed? or gapped at something crazy?

Looking at the prototype models and such is exciting because it looks soooooo... easy to install.. And i thought I would be done with boosted cars.. but looking at this type of setup kinda sparks my interest back up... The only thing that iam really questioning is the the maintenance.. I hated how my previous car was boosted and it basically required new sparkplugs at each oil change and gapped at a something really tight... I also got rid of my previous car because of how much maintenance it required (and kinda got rid of it because it was wayyy too low to drive).

I bought this car so that I can get away from changing the oil and sparkplugs all the time... if ths kit still allows me to keep manufacture maintenance intervals.. I am pretty sure I am going to buy it.. it does everything I want it to do... easy installation... retain the factory fuel injectors, retain the factory stock intake.. and more importantly.. gain an AWSOME roots blower sound during acceleration.

Well Vash, I am due for an oil change so I will do that at the same time I install this Kit, I am eagerly awaiting the order form from sprintex who said they would send it out to me by Yesterday!

I will have to buy some new sparks for the install as well, So in time I'll see what the wear and tear is like.

This kit is not increasing power by that much. Your internals will be fine up to what this can produce until you really go crazy. Look up DSM and his turbo ge8. Most informative thread on the forum

Didn't see that. That's even better because they have already been proven to handle the kraftworks kit. The GE is kinda the uncharted territory
