Sprintex supercharger IS AVAILABLE!(GE8)
Kraftwerks was advertizing the development of their GD-3 kit in late 2006.. It wasn't until spring of 2009 that the base kit was available.. The High Boost upgrade came out the following year... Bolt on boost for the consumer market has to work flawlessly or it isn't going to sell.
Did you have to upgrade the brakes or does OEM work fine?

Look at the GD3, 4+ years after they stopped selling it Hondata released Flashpro.... so in about 5-6 years we'll get one.
I say stick to plan A... if you really want FI now look no further than Lyon's build, and the Canadian Turbo Fit build ---> https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...fit-turbo.html
Yes,
I found it funny that no picture on USDM Honda Fit posted on Sprintex facebook page so far,
while they post many other pictures...
especially when several Honda Fit owner already pay a deposit for their kit !
We understand if the picture still show some kind of prototyping,
but at least we see it
I mean, tomorrow is November 1 already...

I can actually wait this would be a 2015 item, 2014 looking on updating wheels and seeing if I can find a spoon spoiler and carbon fiber hood also if Koni releases their shocks get some fronts and GC.

The pictures on the turbo one seem deleted. I see there is other products overseas must be some issue with the set up with ECU ( not really my expertise) Rotrex A/S
I went to that but did not see it.
RPMextreme , does the " tuned " SC come with a preset tune when you install it
then u could tweek it from there ? Also I was wondering if the " locked " SC mean that you have to bring it in to an authorized dealer to have it tuned ?
thanks

Car has been here for about a week.
It has been in Michigan for R&D and has been supercharged for 22k miles so far.
So far all I have done is drive it and evaluate it. The real fun will come in the next few weeks.
they are slimming down the unit to fit the hybrid engine also as the hood clearance is a little different.
We are also working on 2 versions. 1 is a "locked" sprintex tune and the other will be a "tuner" version that you can tweak with a laptop.
I have a few questions for you guys.
1. What fuel mileage are you showing on the display?
2. how do you feel about having to run premium fuel with the kit?
3. would you want cold air intakes or high flow exhaust?

Sprintex is getting ready for sema and its why they are hard to reach currently, I don't think they are ignoring any questions.
I think they will have more public info after sema.
It is the crz. The kit should work on both.
The one I have been driving has been flawless so far
and I don't have to worry about getting run over by 18 wheelers with the extra power it has.

beside they both have different ECU,
so I don't understand the reasoning that Sprintex for the delay is because they are developing this kit for CR-Z.
I mean if I am sprintex owner,
I don't mind selling the Fit kit first to Fit owner so I make money right now,
while I also develop CR-Z kit in parallel.
Selling now mean money now.

Subject: Re: Is it possible to make a 2013 Honda Fit Supercharger Kit?
Importance: High
We currently have no plans to offer a Fit supercharger system.
The CR-Z system is not compatible with the Fit. The CR-Z does not have an alternator, while the Fit does. This will effect the supercharger mounting.

At this rate I will be waiting for your next post to this thread 2.5 years from now. Myself I can wait really not planning any modifications for horsepower until 2015 (if it is possible by then.) Maybe someone will provide an alternative such as a turbo for the Fit and it will give me time to save my pennies to do the job right the first time.
