Ge honda data flashpro

Flashpro won't help you with TPMS/wheel swaps... what you need is an ATEQ Quickset... and another set of TPMS per wheel set you plan on swapping.
This is correct.
Unplug the VSA button. After a short bit of driving (maybe a half mile? Less? Havn't measured yet, it's usualy just after I leave the parkinglot at work) the VSA and traction control will go off. Now you can just ignore the TPM system as well because any ill effects past the light being on have been nutered.
a little late to the party but I am very interested in a flash pro for my 09. lightened flywheel sending false knock to ecu thus shutting engine down. hondata dealer says flashpro has cured this in first gen cars.
I hope you guys get the Flash pro for the GE8 and I fully support your efforts but,
If Honda is anything like Ford they will be voiding warranties left and right for cars that have been tuned. The Ford tech could see a foot print from the ecu being flashed any number of times. This was possible even after the car was returned to stock tune
before bringing a car in to the dealer for service.Ford issued a TSB to all dealers to start looking for tunes and multiple flashes that were not performed by the dealer.
I had a 2011 Mustang 5.0 before getting the Fit and I had it tuned and modded to the max including a Supercharger.I was not concerned about the warranty and realized if something broke it was on me.
I actually never had a issue with my dealer even with all the mods but this was because of my long relationship with this dealer and a mod friendly service dept.
Things all changed once that TSB went out to dealers and most new owners were scared to tune their cars with anything other then the Ford factory tuner.
I'm only bringing all of this up to let those of you who plan to tune your cars know about the possible risk.If you are like me none of it matters much because you are willing to take the risk for the performance gains.

This is very simple to diagnose. Unhook the lead to the knock sensor and take it for a drive presto changeo you will know instantly if the knock sensor readings are causing the problem with minutes of work.
(yea yea the "kid in the back of the room can't wait to say "well wouldn't that put it into limp mode?")
Yep it might well but SO WHAT as long as it will go to 3000 rpm that is high enough to see if the misfire is still present.
Could it be maybe they are to SELL you a flashpro?

Ford screwed over a lot of people to keep their "free" warranty work costs lower. Any manufacturer does this.
My honda dealership tried this on me on my first oil change. When I asked why my receipt has a charge on it, they looked at me stupid, then said it cost money for services. When I said go grab the owner so I can tell them how firsttime customers were being treated, they immediately dropped it and sent me on my way. Didnt even give me a receipt for services
right that what im saying plus other fit fourms im sure talk about this
but yet were still waiting i know i am
buying a used tranny soon for my AT
so when it come down to it releasing ill turbo my AT
and have a back up just in case
