I am in as well for a reflash. Flashpro for me would be excessive as i am trying to leave the car alone engine wise. for now

hey guys, I am not sure how accurate this is. but i called hondata and spoke with a guy for about 10 mins and got back that we should keep a look out for the 2012/13 civic si flash pro cause it is priority over the ge8 system he said to expect to see a solution for the ge8 in the next 6 months to a yr as it is in line with the new TSX system, the new SI and RDX .

Hopefully he isn't blowin smoke. I had an 07 tsx and they kept saying it was on it's way etc.... and the reflash was for 04-06 models. As far as they never made it and k-tuned set up an adapter harness to use rsx kpro units which was a $2000 kpro system all said and done while losing cruise and traction control. Hope we get a reflash at least.

 

Yes please cause my only other option is AEM EMS4 as a stand alone option $900 then tuning so around $1400 so for intake header exhaust tune and maybe 120hp to the wheels would be disappointing . By flash pro would be a pandora a box

 

Hope Hondata stay close to that time frame that would be great.

Well I'm in AND have the cash on hand. I am debating using the money to buy a fun car or go all out on the fit. Lets see if hondata wins out my patience. I'll give them a year.

I sent an email recently, with zero response.

I did see that hondata recently added a few vehicles to their supported list. I included that in my email to show we have been keeping tabs.

I am speaking from inexperience, but if they can support a new model that is released exclusively in europe or asia that is less them 6 months out, I think they can get off their behinds and support the GE8 thats been available since september or so of 2008

 

WHen and If it comes out everyone i will be setting up the Group buy for a good price
