Agreed. For once in the history of the internet, if a substantial deposit could be safely held, it would certainly help our case. I don't care what business they are in, it is hard to turn down guaranteed sales. Well, unless it's just a drop in the bucket, but considering the worldwide market, they would do fine with the GE8 and/or GE6 actually.

 

I'm sure Hondata is a profitable business, so they probably have the R&D funds available. The problem may simply be the time, and resources for that R&D, which our money would not change.

Still, I would gladly put my money where my mouth is, if thats what they desire.

 

That is true actually. Money does talk, but Hondata is a pretty large company and has alot of plans. I think it would need a little more than a few thousand dollars put together on this forum.

Keep in mind, if you take the total amount of Honda Fits sold worldwide, how many here are in North America vs how many in Asia?

I believe Hondata would be releasing the Flashpro for this car for all different models from the different countries offered at once. That would mean they need to do R&D on not only the North American, Asian, but also European markets for the subtle differences.

It'll take some time, but looking at realistic numbers here, I think the interest list would need to grow much larger for it to become a top priority. Just my 0.2 cents.

Count me in for Flash Pro, had it on my SI and loved every second of it and wouldn't think twice to buy for my Fit

Excuse my complete ignorance on the subject matter, but what is Flashpro going to do for my GE?

Will it enable me to throw mods at my Fit and have them stick? Mods, as in CAI/SRI, exhaust, or any other potential power boosting mod, without the ECU adapting and making the mods useless?

If guaranteed to do this, then I'm in for sure!

Someone let me know what Flashpro will do so I can put my signature to the petition.
