Ge honda data flashpro
I will definitely buy it lol
Talked to them yesterday as i am a Hondata dealer and i need one for my daily. Their words went like this " there is not enough need for one right now, we are planning on doing one in the future but not at this time"
Sounds like NO!
Sounds like NO!
If this is still a thing, count me in!
The next thing I want to do to my GE8 is tweak the ECU and it sounds like Hondata is the ECU to have... but they don't yet have one for the GE8.
And I might supercharge my GE8 later, for lols, but I'd want a proper ECU tuner for that...

flash pro
A little late to the party but consider me in on a flash pro for the 09 and up Fits. I'm running a lighter flywheel which sends misfire codes to the computer. Wouldn't mind changing some other parameters also.
i was told flat out that there isn't one in the pipeline.
I think the only way this will happen is if there's a kickstarter campaign and people front the damn money. if we approached hondata with 100 orders at 500/each, that'd be a different story.

Its not going to happen with the new chassis coming out. Hondata looks at it this way, first its too late in the game. Second $600 for the flash pro plus a $300 tune... There are other tuning methods that are cheaper ot for the same price that will suit the needs of the Fit tuner. I personally have on order the Apexi VAFC for my bolt ons.

This wishful thinking reminds me in 2002 when the Nissan SE-R SpecV guys thought: "it was any moment that Jim Wolf was going to come out with an ECU" for their cars. 11 years and two chassis later... still nothing.
Its nice to have a tuner that can put the car back to stock at any moment. Its even worth the extra money in my opinion. I'm not trying to be a naysayer, what I've seen in tuning through the years it doesn't look promising.
With 5+ years of sales of the GE8 (by the time the new chassis comes out), and as prices on used ones dropping as time passes, Flashpro is a possibility.
Its almost positive to be a CAN system, but the ecu architecture (brand) for model to model changes. It is most positively going to change with the new chassis. They give the contract to the lowest bidder.

They're completely capable of creating Flashpro for the Fit, they did the CRZ. Not sure what's stopping them, they'd be first to market, and it's not like it's flooded with competition. Overseas sales would probably top US sales; seems like they have money to burn

At this point i'd be happy with a locally available reflash that bumps performance a little, raises redline a tad, shortens fuel cut duration at limiter and gets rid of the little annoyances that come standard with the Fit so I don't have to overnight parts to Japan.
The GD owners didn't get their Flashpro until several years after the new chassis (GE8) came out. Also, the GD was really only available for ~2.5yrs. Wasn't the ('06?) TSX also in the same situation where Flashpro came out a few yrs after the new model transitioned?
