I gotta say, this Best Western motel in Las Vegas looks really nice, though I wish it had a microwave oven (but I forgot the ravoli in SD).

Two thumbs up!

Ran over a nail, and had to plug my tire....

So thankfull my TPMS light was on to let me know. As if the car pulling to the right wasn't enough of a sign that I had a flat tire...

Well, I did the Hoover Dam tour of just the power plant... got to the Grand Canyon to catch a few sunset type pictures... but it was storming nearby, so, it's a weird combo.

Now... to find a rest area along the way to Texas.

I spend pretty much every day in Japan being jealous of all the different colors of FITs I see sitting at the local Honda dealership. These fun colored hybrid FITs look sharp.

I miss the convenience of my FIT!

You should do a twin prop plane flyover the grand canyon. When I did it I nearly crapped myself. There was this cute girl on our plane and the pilot was only in his twenties. So he gets the girl to sit up front with him. They flirt, there's alot of turbulence. He asks the girl if she wants to do the "ZERO G" she gives a cute giggle and says yes. Then the pilot reduces the throttle puts the nose practically straight down at least 75 degrees below the horizon and we literally feel like we are falling out of the air. It's a very cool feeling actually and he must of kept it going for at least 15 seconds before the fun was cut short by the cute girl puking EVERYWHERE. I mean there's puke on the ceiling puke in our hair just a massive spray of puke. And then a few other people puked from all the puke. And it was bad man. Really bad. We didn't even get a refund since this happened upwards the end of the flight.

You should totally do it.

Damn You Lyons I was sipping a frozen Margarita and was spewing it out of my nose. I pictured Goobers sitting beside a great looking girl and after getting a little rapport going on puking ravioli all over her and the inside of the plane.. Honestly man, I am in tears

Gotta give it to you Lyon! What a picture you painted. Does that experience fall into the "Priceless" category? And NO REFUND?

That's a John Belushi, Jim Carey and/or Chevy Chase Saturday Night Live skit right there... Good one... But I'll pass on the experience... yuk!

Alas, I'm already by Amarillo,Texas. So, I missed the whole floating barfing hot chick experience.

I actually did consider doing the flying tour, but worried it needed reservations, so i skipped it... of course, having it rain on me didn't help.

Besides installing Swift Springs, I painted the washer fluid cap black...makes a difference in the uniformity of the engine bay.

I kept seeing this ad for free 72 oz steak some place in Amarillo. But that was way in New Mexico, then, when I got into Texas, I didn't see the ad and forgot about it.

Can you guys get mesquite chips or do you have to use hickory??? A friend of mine had told a guy that had a barbecue place in Kentucky that used hickory about mesquite.. He was going to visit him and loaded a mess of mesquite that he had pulled up on some of the farm land he owned and took it to him.. I like both.
