Last night i got into an accident with the fit. it got rear ended by a car on the freeway driven by 3 underage, unlicensed, uninsured teenagers. the first passenger ran away immediately on foot. then i spoke to the driver and his passenger. as i was inspecting the damage, the driver hopped the shoulder and ran away, followed by his passenger.
the police showed up and i gave them my report and they told me the car was stolen

the damage isnt that bad, just the bumpers are alittle dinged up with a few cracks. hopefully after a nice wash/wax/detail it should be hard to notice

Just got this photo from the paint shop. Can't wait to put these on, but first I gotta find a good deal on some snow tires...and sell my other car so I can afford them.

I'll pick them up on Saturday - excited to see how that metallic teal (Reef Green) looks in the sun!

I thought about red caps to match my wheels, but then I saw the Fiat 500's rocking them and it lessened my enthusiasm. I put on base caps last year because I was tired of the white, and I have a big red/white sticker on the driver's side cap. Maybe I'll have to stickerbomb them both with teal stickers for the winter.

Bought a Snap on f80 and tr72 ratchets...an high quality tools come at a price but I can honestly say I have a real appreciation for fine hand tools.

If you need help getting the stocks off let me know. It's not too bad when you know where the clips are.

My WeatherTech floor liners came yesterday, so I installed them in my Fit. They fit fine and look great!

I'm looking for some steel wheels and winter tires. Nothing fancy--just basic. I guess if I could find some OEM rims where somebody had upgraded, that would work for wheels, too. Any ideas?

According to the part diagram, it looks like two on the bottom, spaced about 1.5" apart and one clip more inboard toward the car?

I think there are two on the top. You'll see it on the new caps. The hardest part is getting the mirror off but there is a DIY for that somewhere. You have to tilt it all the way in and all the way up and there is a spot for a flat head screw driver to fit and you just twist and it'll pop off if I remember correctly.

That sucks I have to remove the mirror for it.

Today I put on a new hood graphic for this week.
