What did you do to your GE fit today?
Wal-Mart is the East Texas version of a Zoo that is open 24/7... You must like like the manimals to make two trips.....Have you found any good Farm to Market roads with curves to let it hang out on at full tilt yet. A neat drive is north on 19 from the Courthouse in Athens just past the Anderson County line make a left on C.R. 404..... When I first moved here I wandered all over on a R1100 GS BMW and found that road to be the easiest to get lost on at night and I loved it. Keep on keeping on... I know that I will see you around some time when I'm over that way..... I still stare at my old beater from the inside of stores too.

...and potentially allow for a little more breathing. nobody seems to know beyond a hunch, or intuition...so I'll add "to make noise" to the list of unsubstantiated remarks on foolin with the Fit's intake.
I believe the car and motorcycle communities both agree with this statement, "Standard air intake systems tend to be very restrictive, in order to eliminate engine noise." Opening up the intake box, removing snorkels, and tossing-out (or opening) noise abatement chambers is a common, free method of improving air intake - albeit minimal in many cases.
Anyway, I'll leave that little chamber door off...i mulled it over for awhile, did a lotta searching, but could not find anything that says "this is bad." But I'll continue to look....why is there a door to this chamber...

^ that's the 2nd or 3rd ref to these i've come across today...gonna have to look into 'em. My first impression was "hell no" to the yellow. Reminds me of the old school crap we'd bolt-on to chrome bumpers...I hated those boxy, piss yellow bulbs:

This yellow film people are puttin on the Fit foggers looks better...different hue, and I guess the modern shape of the lamp helps.

Nah...I friggin hate walmart but sometimes, it's the closest and most convenient. Went the first time for some weekend essentials and then of course forgot some things. And also the kids were like "oh hey, I need this" so we went back. And Kemp...well that was just for fun. Felt like getting out and letting her rip. I'll have to check out that road soon

Probably the same for the other shades (smoke and blue), so go with the color you like the look of.
