What did you do to your GE fit today?
Where'd you get the pedal?
Got the Blox short antenna. I like. Shorter than my previous Stubby short antenna (which came black, but has since weathered to the silver you see in the pictures). Stay away from those Stubby antennas folks, don't look good and finish doesn't last.

Just fine. Most radio station signals are plenty strong enough that you could just unscrew and remove your protruding antenna all together and be fine. Especially if you're just driving around in the city. If you go out into rural areas then I guess the bigger the antenna the better. I mean, a lot of cars just have the flat antenna in the windshield, eliminating exterior antennas all together. Also think of your phone, it just has an internal antenna. I assume it's just a little more expensive to do the windshield antennas, so they just use exterior ones on economy cars like the Fit. Can't be too long though before manufacturers just stop with the exterior antenna completely.
Looking good, glad you ended up getting the Blox
I have been running a stubby antenna on my Z for a long time but it's one of the higher end ones. I think as long as you buy a quality version it should last

I guess I could always just toss the long one in the glovebox for roadtrips to the middle of nowhere.
For sure. I mean just to check you could unscrew the antenna and drive around for a couple days to make sure it will work. But I'm 99% sure you wouldn't have a problem with reception. My brother's '04 Accord has the integrated windshield antenna, but '09 Fit Sport does not. WTF Honda. I guess the Accord is just enough of a step up in model that they spend the extra $$$. It also seems weird that cutting a hole in the roof, having the antenna installed, plus the wiring all the way from the dash to the roof is somehow cheaper. Who knows.
So here are the pics of the mods Ive made so far
Here are the Projectors installed.

Another Look at the projectors as well as my lower bumper plastidip protection.

Normally I'm not a fan of PD but I think you did a good job of keeping it classy with your setup. Nice job!
Haha. Mine is facing off to the passenger side I think. Guess you could put a tiny washer in there to get it to face where you want, but then there would be a little gap between the base of the antenna and the mount on the car. Maybe you could fidget with the threaded insert and get it to where it's lined up just right? I just put mine in as far as it would go in the hood mount and then tightened the antenna down on that. Doesn't really matter to me where it's facing, but now that you've mentioned it, it's kinda bugging me...

I must have spent 20 minutes trying to get it sitting right and I just gave up. If anything, it might be better if the logo is facing forward so people can't see it and be tempted to steal it.
You can see just by this one mod how OCD I am
^Go find a small rubber washer from somewhere in your house. It will crush and the rubber will keep it from backing out.
Just popped in my head idk. Go from there
See, this guy found one.

The antenna did come with some sweet BLOX decals haha. Bought mine straight from the Blox site for $18 shipped - Mini Antennas.
What's this? Something to do with the ABS? Also, you have earned 100 maintenance points for your efforts.
^Looking good Connor
Ahh good idea, I actually have some rubber washers I could try out
