On a forum for 9th Gen Civics I came across a post with a picture of a 2014 Taffeta White Si Sedan and a row of older now NOS Fits sitting in the background.
Of CVTs, SIs, and other things . . .

I am sure that beyond the potential QC issues with the 2015 fits, another factor influencing the availability of 2015 fits is selling off the remaining 2013's. In April American Honda sold 4197 fits which is just about the same number as they sold in April 2013. I don't know if this number includes any 2015's. If it does, it is not more than a few hundred.
Eleven days ago, I reported that there were 5590 model year 2013 Fits listed on cars.com. Today there are 4368 and 104 additional cars were newly listed in the past 7 days, This would indicate a sell rate of 120 cars per day. So it looks like there is still about a 36 day supply of 2013 Fits to sell. But lots of dealers currently have no Fits at all shown in inventory. As a result I expect that we will see the release of many 2015 Fits very soon.
Disappointingly, it appears that production has not yet begun on 6MT Fits.

My local dealer had two show up online over the weekend. I went over there at lunch to look. "No, they won't be here for another 6-8 weeks. Can I interest you in a Civic or Accord?"
I used to love this dealer, but they got bought out. New management is doing all the classic Stealership things: overcharging for service, trying to sell you $2000 of service when you come for an oil change, shady advertising tactics, "required" dealer-added package, etc.
