I was going to add a sharkfin, but I went with this $12 bullet antenna instead. I figured if reception is poor I can pull the stock one out of the glove box and swap it quickly. Not so easy to do with a sharkfin. Looks ok?

Much more fiscally responsible than a sharkfin. Where'd ya get it?

Anyone had any luck with lower priced shark fin antennas? There's quite a few out there, but I'm concerned with color match.

My latest two updates are an Ultra Racing rear sway bar and a Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust (installed just tonight).

Looks great! I did the HKS Silent Hi-Power just for cost but I do like the dual tips of the Tanabe. Have you taken any video yet? What did it cost and where did you buy?

I'll have to see about shooting some video… There are several places that carry it, and in fact, one emailed just yesterday to let me know they had them in stock finally (link). I had already ordered from Ultra Rev Parts (http://www.ebay.com/itm/381218884967?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT), though.

Apparently, Tanabe ships in bulk as opposed to when you actually order, so you have to time it right or you wait a couple months.

I really like the sound - it's just enough more to come above the threshold of awareness without being obnoxious. Makes me wish I had the 6MT! At any rate, it's exactly what I wanted, both sound-wise and aesthetically.

Yup it was a tossup for me between the HKS and the Tanabe. I prefer the dual tip look of the Tanabe, but the HKS was in stock and $304 shipped so I pulled the trigger on that one.

I'd like to hear your Tanabe though. I've seen this vid on youtube but it's always nice to see others:

Have you tried it in S mode? I've got a CVT and it sounds good with the HKS in S Mode. With S mode holding the ratios, it really brings out the exhaust note.

Exhaust looks good but the sound is way too low. This car is too quiet. I like the deep gurgle of the Hks.

Got my mini-fit in the mail the other day. Also installed my 25mm spacers on the rear.

+1. however i think both are too quiet. If it's under 93 decibels, how much is it?

So are older model fits that much different when it comes to exhaust systems.
